Nike Air Max 90 Blue Snakeskin
I have to admit that I have never seen a snake with blue skin like this, but that doesn’t mean that these Nike Air Max 90’s aren’t a great pair of kicks. They feature an 100% tonal blue snakeskin upper and a white midsole. If you are feeling these shoes, you can get yourself a pair at MentalKicks.

Nike Dunk Low Supreme Spark – 3M

The Nike Dunk Low Supreme Spark – 3M Yielding a black upper composed 3M trim and a mesh toebox, this pair is further developed with the clean white midsole and the aforementioned icy blue sole. This pair sports a black upper but what seems like leather is actually 3M material. Some full grain leather and a quilted textile underlay all sit atop a white midsole that provides a nice transition into the frozen sole.

Nike Hyperize “White Men Can’t Jump” Pack

Posted: 27 Apr 2009 11:16 AM PDT

Nike Hyperize

Without a doubt, the Nike Hyperdunk took the hardwood by storm this basketball season. However, the Hyperdunk 2.0, officially known as the Nike Hyperize, is sure to make just as big of an impact this summer. Obviously, the Nike Hyperize will release in a few basic colorways, however, we have now spotted an upcoming Nike Hyperize Pack inspired by one of America’s favorite movies.

Inspired by the 1992 film White Men Can’t Jump, this pack consists of two fresh Hyperize colorways. One pair, drawing inspiration from Wesley Snipes’s character Sidney Deane contains a primarily black upper with multiple laser blue and red details throughout the base. If you recall, Sidney Deane’s basketball gear contained plenty colors on the Venice Beach playground. In addition, Woody Harrelson’s character Billy Hoyle is represented by the predominately white Hyperize. It possesses minimal neon accents throughout the base as well. However, one of the more interesting features on Billy Hoyle’s PE (if you will) is the tongue logo which reads, “I’m in the F*#@!ng Zone!”. If you recall, this was one of Hoyle’s memorable lines in the film. Stay tuned for release date info.  Click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Zoom FP White/Black/Varsity Maize

Posted: 27 Apr 2009 10:22 AM PDT

Nike Zoom FP White/Black/Varsity MaizeNike has dropped yet another colorway of the Zoom FP. We saw the Stealth Grey Zoom FP last week and without missing a beat a new color has arrived at retailers.

The Nike Zoom FP is now available in a white, black and yellow colorway. This colorway could easily find its way onto the feet of the Fun Police, with their matching yellow and black attire. Tim Hardaway, Kevin Garnett, and Jason Kidd see their signature kicks from the past remixed into this fresh silhouette for the summer.

Check out the kicks, and one of those timeless commercials from the mid 90’s after the break.

Nike Blazer LE

Late last year, Nike released a limited edition Blazer which drew inspiration from former NBA star George “Iceman” Gervin. In the same manner, Nike will be releasing this Nike Blazer supposedly inspired by former NBA star World B. Free.

Using a very exotic colorway, this shoe features a predominately tie-dye upper. The color scheme used in the tie-dye design contains shades of dark obsidian and pro gold. Dark obsidian is also seen on the toe area, heel tab, swoosh and tongue. This Nike Blazer LE will hit House of Hoops on June 12th, 2009. Click here to view detailed photos.

Nylon Magazine x Nike Sportswear Dunks

Posted: 27 Apr 2009 08:48 AM PDT

Nylon Magazine x Nike Sportswear DunksWe’ve seen a few shots of the Nylon Mag Dunks over the past couple of months. Today we finally get a good look at the entire collection.

The Nylon Magazine x Nike Sportswear Dunks are done up in five fluorescent colorways. Nylon applies their logo in a bold way across the entire upper of each sneaker. Colorways are entirely tonal, however, to make things interesting both leather and nylon materials are thrown into the mix.

Overall, a pretty fresh pack from Nike Sportswear. Which colorway would you choose?

Standard x DC Shoes Admiral Hi

Posted: 27 Apr 2009 08:16 AM PDT

Standard x DC Shoes Admiral Hightop

Two weeks ago, we showed you the collaboration design between BLENDS and DC LIFE on the Admiral Hi. Many of you stated that it was a very sick design. In the same manner we have now spotted a joint effort between Standard and DC Shoes on the same sneaker.

This shoe was designed in lieu of Standard’s official second location opening on Lenox Square. Inspired by the heavy red accents seen at both store locations, the Admiral Hi contains a 100% true red leather upper combined with a white rubber sole. Other details include perforated side panels, green custom shoelaces (drawing inspiration from the artificial turf that covers the floor at the new store) and a silver DC logo tag to the left of the side panels. In addition, this sneaker also possesses custom insoles inspired by the aforementioned turf floors. Snag your pair at Standard today.

Kicks On Court: Melo Laces Up New Colorway of Melo M5

Posted: 27 Apr 2009 07:40 AM PDT

Kicks On Court

It seems Chris Paul’s Jordan CP3.II has overshadowed Carmelo Anthony’s Jordan Melo M5 this season. Many anticipated Paul’s second signature sneaker more than Carmelo’s latest shoe. However, our Kicks On Court spotted Anthony in a fresh colorway of the Jordan Melo M5 in game 4 of the New Orleans Hornets-Denver Nuggets series.

This particular colorway features a primarily black upper with minimal yellow accents throughout the base. It also contains Anthony’s initials throughout the side panels as an added feature. Is this the best colorway seen on the Jordan Melo M5? Better yet, is his signature shoe better than Chris Paul’s Jordan CP3.II? Click here to view more kicks worn by LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul and others.

Jordan CP3.II “Hulk”

Posted: 27 Apr 2009 07:16 AM PDT

Jordan CP3.II HulkAt 6 feet tall Chris Paul may look like your average Bruce Banner off of the court, but just like the Hulk, when he sets foot on the court its a whole different story. Its that beast-like game play has inspired the latest “Hulk” colorway of the CP3.II.

This Jordan CP3.II “Hulk” features the most unique mix of materials we’ve seen on the CP3.II thus far. Jordan mixes up white patent leather and denim, and touches it up with Mean Green contrasting stitching and accents. As for performance, if you read our CP3.II Performance Review, you already know how well these kicks dominate on the court.

Look for this Quickstrike to be arriving at select Jordan accounts soon. Detailed shots after the break.
