The adidas skate line is anchored by Dennis Busenitz and Mark Gonzalez, who have placed their name on countless adidas silhouettes and signatures. For the Spring skate season, the three stripes brand designed these two new pairs, which have landed at select retailers. The Busenitz Skate utilizes a dark upper, contrasting its dark blue suede build against the white midsole and stripes. Gold foil text appears over the heel-most stripe, displaying the signature skaters name. The same trick is used on the Gonzalez Skate, which has channeled a bright yellow hue for itself. Black leather can be found along the sides, heel and on the tongue. The weather is warming and skate season is coming–are you planning to ride in these adidas? | Supra Skytop Acid Wash Posted: 18 Mar 2010 11:43 AM PDT  It may not be the mid-80s anymore, but Supra still chose to use acid wash denim on these Skytops. The special Supra releases have been numerous lately, including the “St. Paddy’s Clover” Vaider, and this pair keeps the trend going with its unique material choice. As mentioned above, the entire upper is created with denim in acid wash. The treatment creates a multi-grey look, which is matched with a light grey vulcanized sole. Dark metal eyelets are also implemented along the midfoot and ankle, adding a utilitarian element to the colorway. | DJ Clark Kent x PPG Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 Posted: 18 Mar 2010 10:58 AM PDT  Which DJ Clark Kent-designed Air Force 1 interests you the most? Some of his best work includes the “Black Friday” Air Force 1s and the “112 Pack” Air Force 1s. However, we have now a Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 that was designed by Kevin “PPG” Hunter and given as a gift to DJ Clark Kent. At a first glance, you can see that a nice mixture of colors and textures were used for this design. Aqua-colored suede is used on the toe box, side panels, inner lining (yes, that’s suede on the inner lining) and on the Nike tongue logo. In addition, it seems as if PPG uses black snakeskin on toe and midfoot sections as well as the swoosh. Last but not least, a dark red leather is seen on the heel panel and tongue, while the complimentary features include aqua-colored shoelaces and a outsole of the same color. | Nike Air Force 1 Mid White/Club Purple Posted: 18 Mar 2010 10:13 AM PDT  We don’t see too many Air Force 1 Mids these days. Though the Low and High cut shoes make constant appearances in any and all colors, the Mid soften seems to get left out. This pair borrows the colorway of a Low we saw not too long ago, but maintains its higher cut. The upper uses the classic, and always clean, white leather build. Club Purple can be found at strategic points throughout, including the outsole, liner, Swoosh and AIR logo on the midsole. Earlier this week, we got a little taste of St. Patrick’s Day sneakers as Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen laced up a white/gold-green colorway of the Jordan Hallowed Ground. Last night, Kevin Garnett, Nate Robinson and LeBron James joined Allen in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit by sporting green and gold sneakers of their own. Check out today’s Kicks On Court to see the NBA’s St. Patrick’s Day spirit. While some of the players’ kicks were specifically designed for St. Patrick’s Day, other players simply wore gold and green sneakers for the holiday. Boston Celtics teammates Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett wore specific St. Patrick’s Day sneakers; Allen laced up another Jordan Hallowed Ground colorway and Garnett sported an adidas TS Commander colored in white, green and gold. King James laced up the “China” Nike Air Max LeBron VIIs which own a white/metallic gold base. However, Nate Robinson has the surprise of today’s Kicks On Court. He laced up the Nike Zoom LeBron V St. Vincent St. Mary’s which was worn by LeBron James’s high school two seasons ago. Similar to the Air Max 95 “Neon,” this colorway is the most popular and sought- after for this silhouette. And later this year, it can be yours again. The mudguard is black, as is the top plastic eyelet. Elsewhere, the remainder of the upper is grey nubuck and white mesh. The famed Infrared color appears on the outsole, heel, Air Max window surround and midfoot, adding the namesake color in spades. Be on the look out for these in July.
