Vans Authentic “Green Room Festival”

Posted: 11 May 2010 12:58 PM PDT

Vans Authentic "Green Room Festival"

To commemorate the Japanese art, music and film event the Green Room Festival, Vans designed these special edition Authentics.

Heavenly Pink canvas is used for the entire upper, while a white midsole sits underneath. Accenting that midsole is a matching pink stripe. The classic checkerboard pattern we’ve seen a countless number of times lines in the inside of shoe, while the Green Room Festival logo can be seen on the heel of the insole. These can be found now at ABC Mart.

Nike Air Max Rise Zach Randolph PEs

Posted: 11 May 2010 12:28 PM PDT

The Memphis Grizzlies are one of the 14 NBA teams that did not make it to the playoffs; however, power forward Zach Randolph was one of the few bright spots in Tennessee this year. Randolph made his first All-Star appearance and sported some of the better Nike Air Max Rise PEs throughout the year.

Randolph’s ‘Away’ Air Max Rise PEs coincided perfectly with the primarily navy blue colored Memphis Grizzlies jerseys to say the least. The yellow bordered, blue swoosh, along with minimal branding on the tongue and heel, show up nicely on the black leather base. As for the ‘Home’ Air Max Rise, it features the exact same elements; yet, its base is colored in white. Both are equipped with a blue visible Air sole unit. View detailed photos below.

Vans Era Pro

Posted: 11 May 2010 11:58 AM PDT

Vans Era Pro

This morning we saw two upcoming Chukka Del Barcos from the Vans California catalog. While those are the ideal sneaker for lounging around, the four Era Pros were seeing now are more aligned for skating, though they retain their classic good looks for this Fall season.

Suede covers the toes and heel of each pair to add durability, as well as contrast. A blackout pair is included, while another uses a black majority with white and blue accents. Black is used again on the third, while magenta fills out the middle of the upper. The fourth pair is the only to not use black, instead relying on an electric blue for its upper. Boardfeel construction and a Drop-In PU midsole add to the skate-ability of these.

Nike Hyperfuse “Photo Blue”

Posted: 11 May 2010 11:28 AM PDT

The newly-designed Nike Hyperfuse made a surprising appearance in this year’s NBA playoffs as it showed up on the feet of two of the best point guards in the NBA, namely Rajon Rondo and Deron Williams. Many of you agreed that the latest sneaker in Nike Basketball’s ‘Hyper’ series will be a success judging by the colorways you have seen to date. However, we may have came across the best Hyperfuse colorway yet.

The Nike Hyperfuse can potentially be one of, if not the lightest and most breathable basketball ever from the Nike Basketball vault. The upper is constructed mainly of synthetic mesh and possesses multiple air vents; both of these qualities nonetheless aid to the Hyperfuse being very breathable and lightweight. Another technology-based attribute is the Zoom Air which provides extreme cushioning. As for the colorway, this particular Hyperfuse, which is scheduled to release in July, features a primarily photo blue colored base with minimal black hints noticeably on the swoosh, inner lining and outsole. If you recall, this color scheme was seen earlier this year on the Nike Zoom Kobe V. View detailed photos including a closeup of the synthetic mesh upper, below.

SSUR x Converse Pro Leather 1976

SSUR x Converse Pro Leather 1976

SSUR, who worked with DC Life and Caviar Cartel on an upcoming release, has also given the Converse Pro Leather a go.

The classic Converse silhouette was treated to a healthy dose of premium suede, while crackled leather works along the midfoot. Other details are featured, including the gold branding on the tongue and the unique shark’s tooth lace lock. At first glance it looks as though the classic Converse chevron logo we’re used to seeing is gone, but it is in fact done with perforation, making these all black kicks even more sleek. SSUR will be selling these very soon, as will select First String accounts.

Nike Air Max Hyperize Nate Robinson PE

Posted: 11 May 2010 10:28 AM PDT

Sneaker-wise, Nate Robinson will always be remembered for his “Kryptonate” Nike Foamposite Lite that he wore in the 2009 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. However, over the past couple of years, Nate Robinson has worn some of the better sneakers we have witnessed in Kicks On Court (see Nike Zoom LeBron IV “Birthday Bundle”, “Altitude” Air Jordan 13 Retros, Nike Air Max2 CB34). Today, we take a look at Robinson’s Nike Air Max Hyperize PEs.

Nate Robinson has not seen a lot of playing time during the 2010 NBA postseason; however, we would like to see him on the court if he plans on rocking these sneakers. His ‘Home’ Nike Air Max Hyperize feature a green flywire design on the side panels paired with a predominately white leather base. It also possesses a green, full-length Air sole unit and a black outsole. As for the ‘Away’ PEs, they own a green patent leather base combined with a black flywire design. This shoe owns sort of a reverse sole color scheme as it contains a black full-length Air sole unit and a green outsole. Both sneakers have Nate Robinson’s initials on the tongue. View detailed photos below.

Jordan Flight Team Ray Allen & Joe Johnson PEs

Ray Allen and Joe Johnson may have been the winners in the unofficial Kicks On Court contest for Jordan PEs. Whether they were Air Jordan 12s or Icons, the two guards showed off some great kicks all season. Now that Joe’s Hawks have been bounced from the Playoffs, we’re left to check out Sugar Ray’s kicks. Here’s a look now at both’s Flight Team PEs.

Each relies on a black base with a patent leather mudguard. Allen’s accents are green, while Johnson relies on red. Both shoes also rely on a black midsole and white outsole. Joe’s shoe shows off a JJ2 logo, while the Ray Allen logo we’ve seen before on his other Jordan PEs appears on his colorway.
