| Nike Mad Jibe QS Release Posted: 03 Jun 2009 10:36 AM PDT  During the spring season, we spotted a plethora of upcoming, classy boat shoes that were set to drop this summer. In addition, Nike has released a white colorway of its own version of a boat shoe model dubbed the Nike Mad Jibe. Anybody plan on relaxing on the yacht this summer? Similar to the typical boat sneaker design, this shoe possesses a low-cut design with a basic, low-key colorway. It contains a 100% white laser-cut leather upper mixed with a translucent sparkle blue sole. The sole itself is very reminiscent to the infamous Dunk sole unit. Other features include white leather shoelaces and a moccassin-like design on the toe area and heel panel. This Nike Mad Jibe is a quickstrike release and is now available at select retailers such as End. |

| Nike Air Force 1 Premium “Polka Dot” Posted: 03 Jun 2009 09:34 AM PDT  Recently, we have seen JB apply the polka-dot design to multiple sneakers such as the Air Jordan 1 Phat Low “Chlorophyll”, the Air Jordan 1 “Laser Blue” and the Air Jordan 1 Black "Polka Dot". Nike seems set to follow the same style by applying the polka-dot design to the Nike Air Force 1. First off, Nike designed this sneaker exclusively for the women. It features an 100% black base with an all-over white polka-dot design. To coincide with the white polka-dots, this sneaker also contains white details in the form of the swoosh and Nike tag logo on the tongue. To finish it off, this Air Force 1 also possesses a black outsole and inner lining. Look for this Nike Air Force 1 Premium Black/Swan to hit U.S. retailers soon. Sneakers of course. “O” teamed up with Japanese footwear label MAD FOOT on a new silhouette that will be dropping at the end of the month. The Omarion x MAD FOOT OBOI will come in four colorways. Fit with the time, the high top features a a strap across the midfoot. Contrary to other artists sneakers, Omarion sticks with simple tonal colorways. | Pietrus Ditches Kobe Kicks for Magic-Lakers Finals Posted: 03 Jun 2009 08:52 AM PDT  If you were in the NBA, how would you feel going against another player while wearing one of HIS signature sneakers? Is that a perpetual pinch to one’s pride? Orlando Magic’s guard/forward Mikael Pietrus cannot bring himself to do it. Throughout the 2008-09 NBA postseason, our Kicks On Court has spotted Pietrus hooping in the Nike Hyperdunk, a sneaker that was heavily promoted by Kobe Bryant (see Aston Martin car jump) before he switched to the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. However, according to ESPN, Pietrus has stated that he will be switching to Jordan sneakers for the 2009 NBA Finals. “I have [Kobe sneakers] at my house, but I’m going to play with Michael Jordan shoes,” Pietrus said. | Vans California Collection Holiday 2009 - Switchback Posted: 03 Jun 2009 08:42 AM PDT  For the Holiday season this year, Vans has come up with a new approach, the Switchback. As part of the California Collection, these should help Vans keep those sales up through the winter months. The Vans California Collection Switchback is a mid-cut boot like silhouette. Materials will consist of suede or coated canvas. Vans will include a couple pair of laces, a set of both round and flat laces. These two colorways should be hitting select Vans retailers in October of 2009. The Switchback looks to be a perfect option for keeping the feet warm throughout the cold of winter.
