Nike Dunk High “White Technicolor” Custom

Posted: 23 Jul 2011 12:28 PM PDT

Nike Dunk High "White Technicolor" Custom

We’ve seen sneakers that break necks in the day. We’ve seen glow-in-the-dark sneakers that break necks at night. We’ve never seen a sneaker that is able to do both at the same time…until today. Evolved-Footwear has created a pair of custom Nike Dunk Highs that features a light-up “technicolor” sole unit. Lights are embedded in a translucent “ice” rubber outsole for a maximum amount of radiance, while a white upper ensures that everyone looking focuses on the innovative sole unit. This Nike Dunk is extremely limited and can be found at the EF website.

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski “Velcro” Black/White

Posted: 23 Jul 2011 10:28 AM PDT

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski "Velcro"

Sneaker engineers are consistently striving to cut, paste and improve their most beloved performance based models. Just as in basketball and football, skateboarding demands a high degree of precision when it comes to footwear. Today, a new Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski “Velcro” has been spotted. This pair, just as it sounds, sports the classic Janoski upper, with a versatile perforated toebox, Zoom Air cushion in the heel as well as vulcanized midsole for added rigidity. Setting this pair apart however is the use of two velcro straps rather than the traditional laces. This is sure to be a hot topic for skaters. Look for this pair to hit quickstrike Nike SB accounts on Saturday, July 23. Let us know how you feel about this pair.

11 Ray Allen “Boston Celtics” PEs We’d Like to See Release

Posted: 23 Jul 2011 10:13 AM PDT

Ray Allen

Today, Jordan Brand finally released the highly anticipated, super limited Air Jordan 13 “Ray Allen” PE to many people’s excitement. We are always happy to see classic retros return; however, there seems to be a bigger enthusiasm when a rare player exclusive makes it to the retailers. The Air Jordan 13 “Ray Allen” marks the third Ray Allen PE to be released to the public (the other two being the Air Jordan 8 “Away” PE and the Jordan Jumpman Team Pro “Away” PE). Who else would like to see Jordan Brand annually release a Ray Allen PE? Take a look at the 11 Ray Allen Boston Celtics PEs We’d Like to See Release.

Many may not remember this particular PE considering Ray Allen only wore it for a couple of games in between the debut of the Air Jordan XX3 in February 2008 and the Finals in June. Nevertheless, if it was available for purchase, we’d find more time and instances to wear this shoe than Ray Allen did. No need for these to sit in the closet and collect dust, Ray-Ray.

Sneaker Showdown: Nike SB Dunk “Space Jam” vs Supreme Black/Cement

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 04:58 PM PDT

Sneaker Showdown: Nike SB Dunk "Space Jam" vs Supreme Black/Cement

The Nike SB Dunk is on a lot of sneakerheads' radars right now, thanks to the drop a very special, Air Jordan –inspired colorway. But it's by no means the first time that's happened. Back in 2002, Supreme partnered up with SB to give the Dunk a classic Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement Grey look.  And while many Dunks have worn Jordan attire before and since, these two Lows stick out as fine examples of how to do it right. The question remains, though: which shoe does it better? Vote in the poll below.

Posted: 22 Jul 2011 04:28 PM PDT

If a recent screen shot is any indication, Kanye won't be Louboutin' it up or Reebokin' any time soon. In the spirit of the recent Nike Air Yeezy 2 Black/Pink sighting we go back to an epic sighting of its predecessor. In the video for "Knock You Down" by Keri Hilson, Kanye, and Ne-Yo, Yeezy rocks his first signature of the same colorway. The single went on to top the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and the Air Yeezy went on to sell out worldwide.
