| The Mavericks Project Bespoke Session with Marcus Troy Posted: 13 Jun 2011 12:58 PM PDT If you recall, Marcus Troy embarked on a digital collaborative project with Nike Sportswear to bring us The Mavericks Project last year. The project, which received an abundance of praise, was about telling and sharing intimate stories from athletes and people from all around the world. The Mavericks Project was about telling stories and sharing stories from athletes and people from all around the world. Two winners were picked from the countless Maverick Project stories to partake in a moment of creating a Bespoke shoe with Marcus Troy at 21 Mercer Street in NYC. Jason Kidd further solidified his Hall of Fame career adding NBA Champion to his resume. His storied 16 seasons have seen the transformation of his play and sneaker game. Once "Ason", the precision passer sonned his critics picking up a jumper and becoming third all-time in made three-pointers. Specifically, the half-Puerto Rican hooper revealed this special edition Jordan Melo M7 Future Sole for New York's Puerto Rican Day Parade. Red and blue coloring is offset by white details throughout. Don't expect this pair to land in stores anytime soon, unlike his other signature variation, the Melo M7 Advance. He specifically chose to rock the “Blue Ox” New Balance 574 via the “American Tall Tale” Pack. This makeup, which features multiple sections of blue suede and grey mesh, is inspired by Paul Bunyan’s counterpart Babe the Blue Ox. | Kicks On Court: Dirk Nowitzki Wins First Championship in Nike Hyperdunk 2010 Posted: 13 Jun 2011 09:41 AM PDT Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks pulled off one of the most watched upsets last night by beating the Miami Heat in six games. The German was undoubtedly the best performer in this year’s postseason. He averaged 26 points, 10 rebounds and shot a whopping 97% from the free-throw line.
