Nike Hyperdunk “No Flywire” Pack

Posted: 15 Jun 2009 10:50 PM PDT

Nike Hyperdunk No Flywire Pack
The Hyperdunk is still a Hyperdunk even without the Flywire. Eliminating the latter technology, Nike is still successful in producing a new breed of hyperdunks. The four colorways are expected to be seen in the market by the end of June. The “No Flywire” Pack includes the Comet Red, Neptune Blue, Cool Grey, and Cyber Yellow colorways. The plain upper doesn’t really make the difference, the Nike spirit is still being carried away by the sneakers. [EUKicks]

Saks Fifth Avenue x PF Flyers Lineup

At the beginning of this month, we gave you a sneak preview of the PF Flyers Holiday 2009 Collection. Many of you applauded PF Flyers for the simplicity of that lineup. As we impatiently wait for its holiday collection, PF Flyers has found itself in the middle of an exclusive, fresh lineup dubbed the Sporting Life. It is set to drop on June 18th, 2009.

This particular lineup, featuring six imited, exclusive and/or early-release styles, is the product of a joint effort with Saks Fifth Avenue. The six models included in this lineup will be the Metal Mesh Glide (shown to the right), the Color Reveal Center Hi, the Blank Vantage, the Bob Cousy All-American Low, the Sumfun and the Sport Shu. Vans Mid Skool ‘77 Lineup

Vans Mid Skool '77 Lineup

If you recall, the Vans Mid Skool silhouette debuted last year, however, since then, it has not surfaced as much as we thought it would. Does this mean Vans is doing away with the Old Skool lookalike? Not quite. Vans is now set to release this exclusive Vans Mid Skool ‘77 lineup.

This particular lineup will consist of three Vans Mid Skool ‘77 models. All three sneakers feature an all-suede upper with minimal white details on the side panels (Vans logo), tongue, shoelaces and heel panel. To coincide with the white details, this shoe also contains a traditional white rubber sole. Colorways will include green, brown and sky blue. Click here to view additional photos.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low White Ostrich

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low White Ostrich

The Air Jordan 1 has seen many makeups this year. Most recently we’ve seen the polka dot covered version of the Phat Low but this next version is a little more subtle, and tasteful.

The Air Jordan 1 Phat Low is done up in all white, perfect for the summer. The outsole is translucent, while the material on the upper receives an ostrich-skin like leather treatment. What do you think is this a better look than the Chlorophyll colorway?

You can pick these up now at Kinetics for about $130.

Nike Sportswear Bespoke Mini-Series Pt. 2: Elephant Print

Upon seeing a plethora of Bespoke Nike Air Force 1 designs, many of you have dreamed about making your way to 21 Mercer Street to design your own. However, the Bespoke program is much more than picking colors. Last week, we gave you part 1 of the Nike Sportswear Bespoke Mini-Series involving the sole. This week, we turn our focus to one of the more often-used texture in the sneaker world today.

Elephant print seems to be a part of every other sneaker you see. If you recall, this infamous texture was made famous on the classic Air Jordan III. The Bespoke program provides the creator with multiple shades of elephant print materials including some that have never been seen. Click here to view the different elephant print colorways.

Nike SB Dunk High “Gucci”

Nike Dunk High Gucci

Earlier this year we gave you word that the Gucci Dunk was returning. In addition to giving you a look at one of the samples, we also have a comparison to the extremely limited 2005 version.

The Nike SB Dunk High “Gucci” features a the classic “Gucci” green and red color combo, combined with a partially denim upper. For this 2009 version that will be dropping in the fall, the denim has been cleaned up slightly. The other noticeable difference is that the heel tab has been switched from red to green.

What do you think of these? Will you pick them up or pass? Click here to let us know what you think.
