Celebrity Rewind: Eminem Rocks “Cement” Air Jordan 4 to ’99 VMAs Posted: 17 Jun 2011 01:28 PM PDT Back in 1999 a lot rappers acted like they forgot about Js. With boots and bling dominating hip-hop fashion and airwaves it was time for a change. Enter Marshall Mathers. Rather then step in the club in the same pair of Lugz, Eminem made his MTV VMA debut in the Air Jordan 4 White/Cement retro. He'd later hold his own on stage in the Nike Air Powermatic. Slim Shady would continue to rock Mikes for the duration of his career and later collaborate on his own Air Jordan 4. Don't you wanna grow up to be just like Em? In Retrospect: “Cough Drop” Nike Air Foamposite One Posted: 17 Jun 2011 12:55 PM PDT Nike Foamposite releases have been consistent over the past couple of years to say the least. Last year saw the release of the “Copper” Foams, the “Eggplant” Foams, the “Pearl” Foamposite Pros and these “Cough Drop” Foams. The latter is our highlight in the “In Retrospect” column. If you recall, Nike initially unleashed this shoe in limited numbers during mid June; however, the increased want for this shoe caused Nike to re-release the “Cough Drop” Foams again during the holiday season. Did you purchase the “Cough Drop” Nike Air Foamposite One, and was it worth the money you paid for it? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last June/December or were you intrigued by another Foamposite release? Lastly, was this one of your favorite releases of 2010? Let us know your thoughts on the “Cough Drop” Nike Air Foamposite One in the comment section below! A core classic in the skate brand's line, this silhouette doesn't release as often as its Hi brother, but this new drop is worth the wait. A suede and canvas upper is complemented and contrasted by black detailing and a white vulcanized sole. Primitive is stocking this one now for $55.
