| Nike Zoom Rookie LWP “Eggplant” Posted: 07 Sep 2011 01:11 PM PDT We have spotted a ton of intriguing Nike Zoom Rookie LWP colorways since its debut on the web earlier this summer. Up to this point, many will agree that the “Memphis Express” colorway stands above the rest; however, is the newly-surfaced Nike Zoom Rookie LWP “Eggplant” the new must-have colorway of this shoe? Recently, this shoe was revealed by NSW Basketball Footwear & Apparel Design Lead Marc Dolce. It features a scheme similar to that seen on the “Binary Blue” pair seeing that it possesses a pearly, Foamposite upper with multiple, black hints. To finish it off, this shoe is complimented with a translucent, blue tinted outsole. From Nike Air Force 1 to Nike Dunk High, this seamless approach to creating unibody upper has become the talk-of-the-town for many sneakerheads. Today, another pair has been spotted that features a VT upper. This Nike Air Max 90 VT colorway features an obsidian based upper, and is paired with a glossy, polished finish that gives it a patent-leather look. Following limited runs of an OG re-hash and our preview of upcoming First String colorways, sak and Converse preview their next collaborative kicks. Priced at $600, dressed in some of the nicest leathers you'll ever see on a sneaker and limited to 24 total pairs, this sneaker features a dressy, boot brown colorway. Designer Ryusaku Hiruma blended his own skills as a Italian footwear craftsman with the legacy of one Julius Erving, who was quite the on-court craftsman himself.
