Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke Burgundy Posted: 05 Jun 2009 10:53 AM PDT We’ve seen a number of fresh designs come from the Nike Bespoke program (and a fair share of fugly ones as well). The latest design to be seen takes a much more simple approach than most. This Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke is covered in burgundy suede. A denim Swoosh is then applied to the side. Gold accents are then applied to the inner liner, dubrae and tongue tag. Reptile skin is placed on the heel area, and fits nicely into the overall feel of the shoes. A semi-translucent white midsole and gum bottom combine to finish off this Air Force 1. Supra Skytop Purple Tie-Dye Posted: 05 Jun 2009 10:06 AM PDT Upon seeing the Supra NS Grey Tie Dye Collection, many of you stated that it was one of the freshest releases by Supra this year. Most of you claimed that the Skytop was by far the best sneaker in the aforementioned collection. However, we have now spotted yet another Skytop featuring the same, uniquely textured tie-dye design. This particular Skytop contains a 100% purple tie dye-textured base mixed with a basic, white vulcanized sole. The inner lining, shoelaces, border of the tongue and the top eyelets are colored in a darker purple. Do not be surprised if a Trinity model and a Strapped model both surface with the same design. What are your thoughts on this Supra Skytop Purple Tie-Dye? Available now at Limited Edition. | Read the rest of Supra Skytop Purple Tie-Dye © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 8 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Supra, Supra Skytop |

Kobe Bryant Puppet Finds LeBron James Puppet Dead Posted: 05 Jun 2009 09:21 AM PDT According to The Onion, LeBron James Puppet is dead. “Upon returning to his apartment fresh off advancing to the NBA Finals, Kobe Bryant Puppet discovered his roommate and rival, Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James Puppet, lying dead in their bathtub. Los Angeles police officials stated there was no evidence of foul play, as the deep lacerations on James’ felt wrists appeared to be self-inflicted. “I knew he was upset about losing to the [Orlando] Magic, but I never thought he would do something like this,” the shocked and fabric-based representation of Bryant told reporters, his facial expression stoic and his eyes unblinking. “Maybe I should have seen it coming. One minute LeBron was happy and covering the apartment with talcum powder, and the next he was playing video games and not wanting to be disturbed. Maybe it’s my fault for putting my championship rings on display in our apartment.” The puppet LeBron is the fifth roommate of either the puppet or real-life Bryant to commit suicide.” Click here to sign the Obituary Guest Book and share your favorite memories. Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Grey Reptile/Yellow Posted: 05 Jun 2009 09:04 AM PDT Although LeBron James exited the playoffs sooner than many expected, his Zoom LeBron Soldier III will continue to march through Nike retailers this summer. That said, this Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Grey Reptile/Yellow will officially drop on July 1st, 2009. This particular colorway is made up of a predominately grey upper with minimal maize accents on the inner lining, tongue logo and strap logo. However, one of the more interesting features on this sneaker is the reptile-like texture seen throughout the base. Other features include multi-colored strap stitching, a white speckled midsole and a translucent outsole. As stated earlier, look for this Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Grey Reptile/Yellow to hit retailers on July 1st. | Read the rest of Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III Grey Reptile/Yellow © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 15 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III |
Nike Sportswear Blazer Premium Denim Posted: 05 Jun 2009 09:01 AM PDT Nike is setting up to drop a new Blazer reminiscent to the Terminator that we saw earlier this year. The Nike Blazer Premium Denim won’t feature quite the detail we saw on the Terminator, but the colorway and material choices are very similar. Blue and grey denim are combined with red and white accents for a nice look. No word on a release date, but these should be arriving at select Nike retailers in the near future. Let us know what you think of these by clicking here. | Read the rest of Nike Sportswear Blazer Premium Denim © Nick Engvall for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 6 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Blazer, Nike |
Vans “Off The Wall” Gallery Posted: 05 Jun 2009 08:57 AM PDT Vans recently launched the Vans “Off The Wall” Gallery, a friendly competition between some notable artists to see who could come up with the best interpretation of the Vans brand. While there are some great pieces by people like Parra, Steve Caballero, PNUT, Shawn Barber, Neckface and Geoff Rowley, this writer is going to shamelessly plug the dope 3D visual seen above by Eric Elms. Head on over to the Gallery and vote for your favorite now.
