| Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Blake Griffin “10.0″ PE New Images Posted: 18 Jul 2011 01:16 PM PDT The Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 debuted in February at the NBA All Star Weekend Dunk Contest. Soaring through the air, Blake Griffin has undoubtedly made this one of the most anticipated models scheduled to release later this summer. Today, we get a better look at a pair that has many searching for a release date. Dubbed the “10.0s,” Blake’s PE takes on an earthquake theme, featuring cracked graphic embossing on the heel and throughout the upper, which can only be seen in light. The heel plate, collar and outsole feature a fan-favorite glow-in-the-dark material and the pair is finished off with “BG32″ branding on the heel. This specific colorway was originally believed only be 1-of-1, but the rumor mill has it that an Asia-release and future stateside-release might be on its way. Still, new looks continue to roll out every season, with some making bold impressions. Today, we get a look at two such pairs that are sure to turn a few heads. The first pair features a yellow, black and white colorway while the second pair uses a purple, grey and white color choice. | Nike Air Diamond Turf “Freshwater” Posted: 18 Jul 2011 12:41 PM PDT Deion Sanders fans can start the partying now. Nike has taken “Prime Time’s” first signature sneaker, the Nike Air Diamond Turf, and given it a colorway simply known as “Freshwater.” This pair has already surfaced at a few Nike retailers and features an upper composed of freshwater-green and black nubuck. Charcoal accents can also be seen lining the strap, midsole, heel plate, tongue and inner liner for a look that is truly out-of-the-park. This time around, the Air Max 90 gets it in the form of some High Voltage coloring. The lower midfoot support, Air Max branding and heel all show this "look at me" color, while the rest of the upper wears a tonal grey and white leather get-up. | This Day In Sneaker History: Dwyane Wade Joins Jordan Brand Posted: 18 Jul 2011 11:28 AM PDT Jordan Brand blessed Dwyane Wade with his first signature Jordan sneaker during the second half of the 2010-2011 NBA season. However, Flash was apart of Jordan Brand’s plans long before the Jordan Fly Wade was unleashed. Jordan Brand officially signed Dwyane Wade to their roster in July of 2009. At the time, many wondered whether or not Dywane Wade would wear a signature sneaker, carry the legacy of MJ’s signature line or simply wear team shoes and PEs (see our Does Dwyane Wade fit into the Signature Shoe Model for Jordan Brand? article). Since then, we have seen Wade have his hands (feet, rather) in all of the aforementioned sectors of Jordan Brand. Flash started off wearing a number of then-new models such as the Jordan 16.5 and the Air Jordan Alpha 1 before JB began lacing him up in Air Jordan 12 PEs.
