“McFly” Nike Hypermax Cancelled

Posted: 24 Aug 2009 12:43 PM PDT

McFly Nike Hypermax CancelledAs soon as we posted the Tennis Ball Hypermaxs many of your started asking about if the “McFly” Nike Hypermax would make its way to the US as well.  We regret to inform you that we have recevied word from a few credible sources that the “McFly” Nike Hypermax has been cancelled and will not release to the US.

While no official word has been released by either Nike or Universal Studios, what we have heard is that the movie studio was not fond of the shoes likeness to their character’s sneakers worn in Back to the Future II.  Some may recall that the “McFly” Nike Hyperdunk was an official collaboration between Universal and Nike, but apparently the Hypermax and Hyperdunk low were unofficial inspirations.

One can only hope that this rumored dispute does not get in the way of the Marty McFly’s releasing in their true form.  2015 is only a few years away!

UPDATE: There are a few sizes left of the McFly Hypermax on eBay.

Jordan Melo M6

Posted: 24 Aug 2009 10:13 AM PDT

Jordan Melo M6 As far as upcoming signature basketball sneakers, the majority of the spotlight has been soaked up by ‘King James’s Nike Air Max LeBron VII and the constant inquiries about Dwyane Wade’s signature shoe possibilities. However, the photos and news of the Carmelo Anthony’s sixth signature sneaker, the Jordan Melo M6, has been sneaking under the radar as of late. That said, photos of what seems to be the ‘Away’ colorway of the Jordan Melo M6 has surfaced on the web.

As seen on most of Anthony’s sneakers, this shoe possesses the timeless black/university blue-yellow color scheme. Many of you expressed your discontent with the Jordan Melo M5, however, does the Jordan Melo M6 put the same bad taste in your mouth or do you consider it an upgrade? Carmelo’s sixth signature sneaker should be available for purchase some time in October.

Jason Jessee x Vans Syndicate Sk8-Hi Pack

Posted: 24 Aug 2009 09:43 AM PDT

Vans Sk8-Hi

In mid June, we notified you of the highly anticipated Jason Jessee x Vans Syndicate Sk8-Hi Pack that features two simple yet stylish Sk8-Hi colorways. Although the color schemes seem ideal for the fall/winter season, we have now spotted the pack at select retailers such as KCDC.

This particular pack consists of two highly-detailed Sk8-Hi models. Both pair feature a 100% oiled full grained leather upper giving it a very slick look to the base. However, one of the more interesting features is found on the inside of the sneaker. This shoe contains Outlast internal linings which chills your foot when its sweltering and warms your foot when its freezing. One pair will come in brown, while the other pair will feature an all-black upper. As stated earlier, you can purchase this pack at KCDC.
