| Nike Blazer High Black/White Posted: 21 May 2009 12:22 PM PDT  Lately, Nike has released a lot of House of Hoops exclusive basketball sneakers such as the Nike Zoom Sharkley Paul Pierce PEs, the Nike Hypermax "CB34″ and the Nike Foamposite Pro Pearl. In a couple of weeks, Nike will drop yet another House of Hoops exclusive in the form of a Nike Blazer High. What makes this basic Black/White colored Blazer different you ask? It features a tonal screen printed graphic pattern throughout the base. Minimal white details are located on the swoosh, toe cap and the top of the heel panel. The color scheme is very basic, yet it still contains a nice, stylish style to it. As stated earlier, this Blazer High drops at all three House of Hoops locations on June 4th, 2009. | DC Life Xander Duct Tape Posted: 21 May 2009 12:13 PM PDT  Working our way through the DC Life Summer 2009 Collection, we’ve previously shown you a few silhouettes including the Volcano DSTX, and Dress Sneaker. Now we have a look at the Xander high top in a truly unique makeup. The DC Life Xander comes from the “High Life on the Riviera” collection for the summer of 2009. DC has taken materials that have been previously seen on other sneakers, but applies them in a unique fashion. The uppers are a combination of grip tape, notorious for tearing up skate shoes, and duct tape to protect the rest of the shoe from itself. What do you think of these latest from DC Life? |

| DC Life Summer 2009 Line Up Posted: 21 May 2009 10:09 AM PDT  Earlier this week we saw the first part of the DC Life “High Life on the Riviera” Collection for this summer in the form of the DC Life Volcano DSTX. Those sneakers didn’t seem to be popular with many of you so today we have a look at the second installment of the collection. The DC Life sector brings two new colorways of the Dress Sneaker and an additional colorway of the Volcano DSTX. One makeup of the Dress Sneaker is smothered in blue, as is this latest version of the Volcano DSTX. | Lakai Eric Koston Hi Posted: 21 May 2009 09:31 AM PDT  One of the most shocking events in the skate world over the last few months was the announcement that Eric Koston would be leaving Lakai to join an unnamed footwear company. Lakai had recently been releasing classics, including the Koston Signature. However, with Koston departing, the plans for this high top version of the Koston Signature model have now been scrapped. Originally the Lakai Eric Koston Hi was set to drop in three colors as part of the Fall/Winter line up. Unfortunately with Eric moving on these kicks won’t see the light of day. With fresh colorways and a timeless skate sneaker revamped with a little extra ankle height, these could have definitely been a dope skate shoe. Click here to check out all three colorways. |

| Under Armour Prototype Brandon Jennings PE Posted: 21 May 2009 09:26 AM PDT  When we showed you the all-black version of the Under Armour Prototype in February, many of you stated that Under Armour basketball could really do some big things in the future. In addition, we have now spotted photos of yet another Under Armour Prototype colorway. Who else wishes Under Armour start releasing basketball sneakers? Would you snag the Prototype for the right price? This particular Brandon Jennings (1st Under Armour basketball signee) PE contains a mainly white upper with heavy perforated side panels. It also seems to contain patent leather on the heel and toe area, while possessing an inner sleeve as well. The colorway is inspired by the jerseys of the team Brandon plays for in Rome. Another interesting feature is the words, “Young Money” written in cursive on the ankle area of the sneaker. Apparently, this is one of Brandon’s favorite sayings. | Nike Air Trainer III White/Grey/Orange Posted: 21 May 2009 08:16 AM PDT  We’ve seen a number of colorways of the new technology packed Nike Trainer 1, but we can’t forget the vast number of Nike Trainers to carve the path before it. One of which is the Nike Air Trainer III which will be returning in a new colorway at the end of the month to retailers like Atmos. This latest colorway of the Nike Air Trainer III features a predominantly white upper with subtle hints of grey and orange. The perforations on the leather are a nice look, accented with the patent orange that has been applied to the Swoosh creates a clean and simple look for the summer. Do these classics compare to the new Trainer 1? |

| Kicks On Court: Alston Assist Magic in AND1 Advantage Posted: 21 May 2009 07:59 AM PDT  At the beginning of the year, we spotlighted Golden State Warriors guard Monta Ellis sporting an exclusive AND1 sneaker dubbed the ME8. AND1 has not been one of the more popular brands during the 2008-09 NBA season, however, our Kicks On Court has spotted Orlando Magic guard Rafer Alston wearing an AND1 model consistently. In game 1 of the Orlando Magic-Cleveland Cavaliers series, Alston wore an all-black colorway of the AND1 Advantage model. It contains a 100% leather upper with minimal blue accents throughout the base. If you recall, this shoe released in a couple of colorways last month. Could AND1 be quietly making a comeback?
