Nike Hypermax “Tennis Ball” Posted: 13 May 2009 12:02 PM PDT A few days ago, we previewed the Nike Hypermax McFly and Tennis Ball colorways, yet there were no clear shots of the Hypermax “Tennis Ball”. However, three days later, a full photo of this highly anticipated sneaker has surfaced. No word yet on the release date info, but you can assure yourself that this will be a very limited edition sneaker. It contains a 100% neon yellow base identical to that of a tennis ball. Most of the sneaker itself uses the fuzzy tennis ball texture to further coincide with its inspiration. To compliment this sneaker, minimal white accents appear on the upper, namely the swoosh. Who else is looking over their shoulder for this release? | Read the rest of Nike Hypermax “Tennis Ball” © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2009. | Permalink | 17 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Hypermax |

Kicks On Court: Bryant Brings Out an Exclusive ‘Home’ PE Posted: 13 May 2009 07:13 AM PDT Throughout the 2008-09 NBA Playoffs, our Kicks On Court has spotted Kobe Bryant and many of his teammates sporting multiple colorways of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Colorways that we have seen include the “Playoffs”, the “Mamba”, the “Carpe Diem” and the OG “Home” colorway. However, Bryant himself laced up yet another colorway of this sneaker. How many possible Zoom Kobe IV colorways can there possibly be? In game 5 of the Houston Rockets-Los Angeles Lakers series, Bryant wore a white/yellow-purple colorway of his latest sneaker. It seems to favor the “Mamba” edition heavily, however, it does not possess the same gradient-like design on the toe area. Still, it is arguably one of the better colorways seen on this sneaker. Yi Jianlian x Nike 1World Air Force 1 Posted: 12 May 2009 02:20 PM PDT The latest Nike 1World Project collaboration, involving New Jersey Nets forward Yi Jianlian, will release this upcoming Sunday, May 17th, 2009 in China. If you recall, Jianlian was the 6th overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. The shoe itself contains a 100% off-white leather upper combined with a brown outsole. However, one of the more interesting features is the different textures it possesses on the base. For example, it uses a woven leather layer on the toe box and side panels, while containing a crocodile leather material on the toe area and heel panel. The latter area also features Yi Jianlian's personal logo. As stated earlier, this particular sneaker will release on May 17th, 2009.
