Recently, the WNBA superstar revealed a close-up look at her “Away” Jordan Fly Wade PE that she wore in the Lynx’s butter-beater win against the San Antonio Silver Stars earlier this week. Nike Air Vortex Blue Glow/Black Posted: 04 Aug 2011 11:43 AM PDT As part of the “V” Series of vintage runners, Nike has brought back the Nike Air Vortex. This pair, which features an old-school silhouette and material makeup, is draped in a mixture of “blue glow” suede and nylon throughout the majority of the upper. Black accents can also be seen, outlining the heel tab, Swoosh and outsole, while off-white accents are used on the midsole, laces, and inner liner. Nike's ongoing "V" Series of runners continues with this latest Air Vortex. It features an old school VNTG look, which includes a yellowed midsole and flexible mesh upper. There was a multitude of sick sneakers on display including this one-of-a-kind adidas Superstar “H-Town Sneaker Summit” Custom design. Created by RJ via RJCustoms, this Superstar’s colorway mimics the color scheme seen on the H-Town Sneaker Summit Summer 2011 flyer. These Superstars were given to attendee Brittany Dailey as a gift from the Summit and RJ. Today, we only get to see a teaser image of this new silhouette; however, from what we can see, it possesses a highly-detailed black leather construction, with the predominance of it smothered in perforated form. Regular leather appears on the collar, tongue and midfoot area. Nike Zoom Rookie LWP Luminous Pearl White/Black-White Posted: 04 Aug 2011 10:10 AM PDT The Nike Zoom Rookie LWP, previewed earlier today in an “Atlantic Blue” colorway, is a hybrid model that combines the silhouette of the Nike Air Flight One with that of the Nike Air Go LWP. Zoom Air cushioning as well as Foamposite construction are applied to each pair for a lighter, more comfortable feel. This particular colorway previewed today features a neck-breaking glow-in-the-dark look that extends from the toe-cap to the heel-cup. Black suede accents can also be seen extending from the tongue while hints of retro Nike Basketball can be seen in the Nike Zoom Flight 95 Swoosh on the toe box.
