This next basketball shoe is not a brand new model but it once released for NBA player, Jason Kidd in 1997. Since Kidd no longer have a connection with this shoe, Nike decided to retro it, omitting Kidd’s name on the design and finishing it in a premium make-up. This is now the Nike Zoom Uptempo V Premium which owns a Black leather ribbed upper with White wave-designed sidewall, and hits of Copper. [NiceKicks]

Air Jordan Alpha 1 White/Black-Varsity Red

Just days after the sighting of a new University Blue-featuring colorway of the Air Jordan Alpha 1, this White/Black-Varsity Red pair has surfaced. Of the numerous design schemes we’ve seen to date, this pair may be the most simple.

The toe, midfoot and foxing areas are matte white, while the toe box and quarter panels have been treated to perforation. To match the black midsole, the liner, laces and Swoosh are the same color, with that Swoosh having received a glossy plastic-like finish. Varsity Red helps out on the ankle logo, as well as the Jumpman logos on tongue and heel.

Nunca x Nike Air BW Gen II & Lunar Chukka Woven "Brazil"

Brazilian artist Nunca was chosen to help support his country’s soccer team as they embark on the chase for an illustrious sixth World Cup title this Summer. We’ve seen some of the other artist collaboration packs from Nike Sportswear, including the Air Zoom Tiempo “Brazil” alongside England’s own pair. These next two pairs, the Air BW Gen II and Lunar Chukka Woven, have also become available now at hanon.

The Air BW Gen II runner utilizes a special material similar to nubuck over white Torch. A white Free forefoot pairs with a Max Air sole for support, while the aforementioned Torch is used for breathability and comfort. The Lunar Chukka’s upper is woven suede in black, portraying a moccasin look over the lightweight technical sole. Solid leather is used at the midfoot and heel for contrast.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low “Rumor” Pack

Posted: 08 Mar 2010 10:28 AM PST

Nike Air Force 1

We have lost count how many times ESPN has ignited the rumor mill surrounding LeBron James’s free agency this summer. Although a lot of us are tired of hearing it, Nike has found a creative way of turning this rumor mill into a four-sneaker pack of LeBron VII Lows.

Each pair of LeBron VII Lows is inspired by one of the teams James has either mentioned or the press has ultimately associated him with. For instance the primarily grey pair represent the New Jersey Nets whom James has been associated with thanks to his friend Jay-Z’s co-owns. Obviously, the royal blue pair stands for the New York Knicks; the team everybody seems to want to see LeBron play for. The remaining two are kind of a stretch to say the least. The light brown pair represents the Cleveland Browns who toyed with trying to pry Lebron from the basketball court. Last but not least, the sport red Air Max LeBron VII Lows pay tribute to the CSKA Moscow in which LeBron stated he would play for if the money was right (highly unlikely). All four pairs are now available at Dunk. It is safe to say the King James rumor mill will keep on churning. Click here to see the pack in its entirety.

Kicks On Court

Besides the Nike Zoom Kobe V, we rarely see players in the NBA rocking another player’s signature sneaker. However, we spotted one Phoenix Suns team member wearing the second signature sneaker of a one-time All-Star in the NBA. That said, check out today’s Kicks On Court to see this happening.

In a win against the Indiana Pacers, Phoenix Suns power forward Amare Stoudemire dropped 30 points while wearing the Nike KD II. Up to this point, we have spotted Stoudemire in the Nike Hyperize; therefore, it is nice to see Amare change it up with another player’s signature shoe. Will the KD II start to show up in more NBA arenas? Click here to view these kicks plus more worn by Kobe Bryant, Dwight Howard, Ray Allen and others.

Nike Air Max 1 "Air Attack" Pack

The Nike Air Max 1 has come on strong in recent weeks. As we near warmer weather, the necessity for a classic runner is ever upon us, and this “Air Attack” Pack should oblige that desire. Five colorways of the AM1 are slated to release the firstof April, but can be pre-ordered now at Eastbay.

Two pairs utilize monochromatic designs, as Football Blue and Sport Red are slathered over every nook and cranny of each respective set. Sport Red makes a second appearance on the third pair, complementing Metallic Silver along the quarter panel and grey elsewhere. Finally, the fourth and fifth pairs mix materials on their black uppers, as the Club Purple-accented pair possesses a pony hair Swoosh, while patent and suede both appear on the final pair.
