Kobe and LeBron will sport the Nike Zoom Kobe V and Air Max LeBron VII “Christmas” during the Cavs-Lakers game, respectively. Whether you’re a fan of either, or both, players and their signature shoes, you’re sure to be pleased to hear that the day after Christmas, both release for sale nationwide. The LeBrons had previously not been given an official release date, while the Kobes weren’t set to release until mid-January of 2010. If you recall, the Nike iD versions became available for sale this morning as well, but require a 4-6 week wait time, so if you just can’t hold out that long, you have less than 24 hours after their debut to grab the Zoom Kobe V “Chaos.” The LeBron VII “Christmas” was done especially for today’s game in a black and red gradient look, with a classic LeBron photo on the insole, capturing him receive his first basketball hoop at a tender young age. Talk about the gift that keeps on giving…

| Space Jam Launch tonight at AKIN Posted: 22 Dec 2009 05:42 PM PST  With the Air Jordan XI “Space Jam” release around the corner, Jordan heads in Chicago are starting to come up with ways to successfully come up with a pair. Even though it is a general release, The demand for the shoe has been building up since 2001 and spots in Chicago are being flooded with calls about the shoe already. Tonight at midnight, AKIN NSW in Chicago will be having a launch party release for the long awaited Space Jam. AKIN opened its doors to the public early July as being Chicago’s first Nike Sportswear store. The store has been cooking up something for this particular release since its conception and it will be an event to remember. There will also be a Limited “Space Jam AKIN” tee dropping the same day. Early Arrival is suggested. Nice Kicks will be bringing you coverage on the event the following day. Akin Chicago
