Lovin’ this new Air Jordan 12 Retro Low “Patent” that has just been released on the 28th of May. This low-cut kick, which is a motorcycle boot-inspired, is the evolved Jordan 12. It got a black suede upper mixed with patent leather and varsity red [...]

Jordan Melo M7 Advance (Black/Metallic Silver-White)

Of all the Jordan M7 models I can say this is my most favorite of them. Jordan Brand has adapted Nike’s patented flywire technology to Carmelo Anthony's seventh signature shoe. The new Jordan Melo M7 Advance has a colorway that looks like from the classic [...]

Bring 'em Back: Nike Air Force 1 "Linen"

In 2001, the States were blessed with retros. From the "Concord" Air Jordan 11 to the Air Jordan 3 Black/Cement, a wave of heat dropped in the US. Unfortunately for Uptown heads, one special pair did not: the Nike Air Force 1 "Linen". Exclusive to Japan, the Linen/Atmosphere pair became one of the most coveted releases among sneaker fiends. Some hooked it up with an abroad connect and a few were lucky enough to grab B-Grades at US outlets. Never the less, the ten-year mark proves time for a retro. Hey Nike, yes you, bring 'em back!

Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five

Posted: 29 May 2011 12:27 PM PDT

Kicks On Court

The 2011 NBA Playoffs have been very exciting to say the least. We have witnessed some very memorable performance and will continue to highlight the various kicks worn in this postseason. Kevin Durant debuted the “Home” version of the “Scoring Title” Nike Zoom KD III, while his teammate Nate Robinson was spotted in a 2010 released Air Jordan retro. Dirk Nowitzki and LeBron James continue to silence the critics with stellar performances in the shoes they have been wearing throughout the postseason. Lastly, Shawn Marion’s game 5 performance reminded us of his time with the Phoenix Suns. Take a look at our Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five.

Kevin Durant posting up in the Home "Scoring Title" Nike Zoom KD III

Kevin Durant debuted the “Home” version of the “Scoring Title” Nike Zoom KD III earlier this week. Although he did not have the game he wanted to (he switched to the “Home” Nike Zoom KD III after one quarter), it was nice to see a new colorway of Durant’s third signature on court.

Shawn Marion dunking in the Nike Air Max Fly By

Shawn Marion scored 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds in game 5 of the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks series. This was by far his best performance in the playoffs since his days in Phoenix. We also took notice of his subtle Nike Air Max Fly By PEs.

LeBron James embraces Dwyane Wade while wearing his Nike LeBron 8 PS "Home" PE

LeBron James is steadily quieting the critics as the 2011 NBA Playoffs continue. He has been nothing less of a clutch performer in the last two games of the Miami Heat vs. Chicago Bulls series. Also, his Nike LeBron 8 PS “Home” PE has caught the attention of many.

Dirk Nowitzki wearing the Nike Hyperdunk 2010

Dirk Nowtizki is arguably the best performing player in the 2011 NBA Playoffs thus far. While wearing the Nike Hyperdunk 2010, he has undoubtedly closed out the Thunder in the final two games of the 2011 NBA Western Conference Finals

Nate Robinson in the Air Jordan 2 White/Metallic Silver-Natural Grey

Nate Robinson is a Kicks On Court favorite whether he is on the court or spending most of his time on the bench. We spotted him wearing the Air Jordan 2 White/Neutral Grey while cheering his team on in game 4.

Air Jordan 6 "Cool Grey" Custom

I’ve always wanted to see what an all-grey color scheme would look like on the Air Jordan 6. I think every Jordan silhouette should have an all-grey color scheme at some point. I must give props to Mizzee for this custom design.

In Retrospect: Air Jordan 9 White/Black-University Blue

Posted: 29 May 2011 10:55 AM PDT

The Air Jordan 6 dominated the first half of 2010; however, Jordan Brand sprinkled a ton of Air Jordan 9 releases throughout the summer and fall. One of the first Air Jordan 9 releases of 2010 came in the form of this White/Black-University Blue pair. When photos first released, many thought this was the return of the classic “Powder Blue” Air Jordan 9. Yet, with closer looks at this shoe, one could see a big difference in blues between the “Powder Blue” Air Jordan 9 and this retro. Nevertheless, it was still a definite purchase for many.

Did you purchase the Air Jordan 9 White/Black-University Blue, and was it worth the money you paid for it? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last year? How does this colorway rank amongst the other Air Jordan 9 releases in 2010 (“Bin 23″, “Silver Anniversary”)? Lastly, was this one of your favorite Air Jordan Retro releases of 2010? Let us know your thoughts on the Air Jordan 9 White/Black-University Blue in the comment section below!

Posted: 29 May 2011 10:27 AM PDT

Nike Air Max 90

Following the Nike Air Max 95 Black/Stealth Grey-Photo Blue we showed you a couple of weeks ago, we have now spotted a very similar Air Max 90 colorway at JD Sports. This pair features a mainly black base comprised of leather and mesh much like the aforementioned pair; yet, this Air Max 90 owns a metallic silver strip on the side panels. Also, Photo Blue hints appear in the form of the Air Max unit, tongue branding among other sections. View detailed photos below.
