CONS Pappalardo Grey/White
We can’t say much about Chuck Taylor’s latest kicks except that its simple and totally gray. The simpleness of the CONS Pappalardo’s upper draws out a positive appeal that makes it easy to combine to any apparel. A small touch of dark gray can be seen in the insole and on the star and stripes while a textured white vulcanized sole makes the Pappalardo very noticeable.

The 106 rarely makes appearances as a Vans Vault release, so when it does come out, it should have fans of the silhouette very excited. Three colorways have released in quality leather builds. Grey, brown and black shoes are now available at select accounts like Proper. Waxed cord laces further the luxurious appeal of these Vans.

Video: “Maestro Knows” Featuring Vashtie Kola

Levi Maestro recently unveiled the latest episode of his web-based “Maestro Knows” series of videos. The timing of its release is perfect, as this episode features Vashtie Kola, who worked on the much-talked-about Air Jordan 2 “Lavender” that’s out today. The twosome carry her shoe all around New York, asking random people on the street’s opinions. Air Jordan 5 ‘Light Graphite’

In mid-September, we gave you a preview look at what was thought to be a “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 5. It is still supposedly one of the next offerings from the Air Jordan “Bin 23″ Collection; however, we have now learned that this colorway of MJ’s fifth signature sneaker is actually Light Graphite. The entire upper is constructed of a soft nubuck-like material colored in Light Graphite. Wolf Grey hints appear in the form of the laces and the shark teeth figure just above the sole. Other interesting elements include a white inner lining, an icy sole and a burgundy-colored insole. The Air Jordan 5 ‘Light Graphite’ will hit retailers some time in 2011. Although the secondary colorway on this shoe is labeled ‘Hot Red’, it can definitely be classified as the women’s version of an “Infrared” sneaker. This Air Jordan 1 combines the Infrared-like color with another one of the most beloved color schemes (‘Cool Grey’) into one of the better Air Jordan 1s we’ve seen in awhile.
