| Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze Grey/Green & Black/White-Orange Release Date Posted: 13 May 2011 01:04 PM PDT Today’s Swizz Beatz x Reebok Kamikaze release was a huge success as some retailers reported that this shoe sold out in approximately 10 minutes. The great deal of success is very reminiscent to the Jay-Z’s Reebok S.Carter sneaker and 50 Cent’s Reebok G6. If you were not able to get your hands on this collaborative effort, do not worry. We have learned Reebok will release two more colorways of this shoe on June 10, 2011. Specifically, a grey/green pair and a black/white-orange makeup with hit select retailers on the aforementioned date. Both pairs feature a fair share of suede and leather on the upper and use vivid colors as contrasting compliments throughout the base. Below, is a list of cities that will have both colorways in stock. This year alone, we have witnessed the release of the CNCPTS x New Balance 999 "The Kennedy" and the ANDSUNS x Hectic x Mita x New Balance MT580. Today’s “In Retrospect” takes you back to one of the better New Balance joint efforts we have seen in recent memory. Last May, New Balance and UNDFTD released the instant classic 1500 “Desert Storm” in limited numbers. This creation was inspired by military designs from the Gulf War, while the brown, blue and red color scheme is a nod to the Desert Storm operations patch. Also, New Balance and UNDFTD sold these shoes with a canvas shoe bag featuring utility camo print. Both rely on vulcanized soles and navy canvas uppers. One pair sports a "color chart" on the back heel stripe, while the other is covered in white stars. This pair features a primarily black upper comprised of leatherand a reptilian texture on the toe box. Del Sol and black work together on the patterned inner lining, while the lightbulb outsole provides extra contrast. The Nike Zoom Kobe Venomenon is a cheaper, sleeker variation of the Kobe VI and is exclusively available overseas.
