Vans Vault Half Cab Holiday 2009

Posted: 01 May 2009 12:53 PM PDT

Vans Vault Half Cab Holiday 2009We’ve seen a lot from Vans as of late, with the Solebox collab, and the “Goatskin Pack”, but it has been a minute since the Half Cab made an appearance from the Vans Vault.

This Holiday season will see a couple interesting makeups of the Vans Vault Half Cab with exaggerated piping around the paneling, which makes for a very Vandal-esque like look. Two colorways, a simple black colorway, as well as a brown colorway. Of course all the classic elements of the Half Cab are present as well, so these kicks should be on a lot of cop lists come winter.

Click here to see both colorways.

Nike Air Rejuven8 LE

Nike Air Rejuven8 LE

In early April, we gave you a preview of the Air Rejuven8 Summer colorways, and those who commented were pretty skeptical of the running sneaker. However, in hopes of swaying you into the positive direction, we now spotted detailed photos of the Nike Air Rejuven8 LE in two colorways.

One pair (left) contains a predominately Orange/Yellow upper that sits atop a navy blue base. The upper seems to portray a gradient-like design starting from toe cap (red-orange) to heel (neon yellow). The remaining pair contains a grey upper that sits atop a black base. In addition, it also possesses a yellow sole. Pick your pair up now at Mita. Click here to view detailed photos.

Air Jordan Fusion 9 Low

Posted: 01 May 2009 09:21 AM PDT

Air Jordan Fusion 9 LowThe Air Jordan Fusion 9 is arguably the best looking Fusion sneaker from Jordan Brand. Probably due to the fact that it uses a combination of the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan 9 midsole, overall making it appear more like the latter. The latest makeup is the first in the low top form.

The Air Jordan Fusion 9 Low will be dropping May 30th and be priced at $135. The combo of Black, Varsity Red, and White is definitely classic. The shine of the midsole also pairs well with the faint speckled lower panel on the uppers. This will also be a nice parting gift for you Bulls fans that have to watch your team finally get knocked out of the first round on Saturday.

Is the Fusion 9 the best of the Fusion line-up?

Nike Zoom Fun Police “Los Angeles Lakers”

Posted: 01 May 2009 09:09 AM PDT

Nike Zoom Fun Police

Lately, we have seen a couple of fresh Nike Zoom Fun Police colorways such as the White/Varsity Red and the White/Black/Varsity Maize. In addition, we have now spotted yet another fresh colorway; this time, it is inspired by a historic NBA franchise.

Drawing inspiration from the Los Angeles Lakers jersey colors, this particular sneaker features a primarily black upper with multiple purple details on the midsole, laceholders, tongue and heel panel. Yellow accents also appear on the swoosh and shoelaces. Since the playoffs began, we have only spotted Orlando Magic forward Rashard Lewis sporting the Nike Zoom FP, however, could we possibly see a few of the Lakers rocking this shoe? Maybe not. Most of them are in love with the Kobe IV.

Kicks On Court: Ray ‘Rulez’ the Hardwood

Posted: 01 May 2009 08:33 AM PDT

Kicks On Court

The Chicago Bulls-Boston Celtics has been the best first round series this year without a doubt. It may go down as one of the better series in NBA history. However, our Kicks On Court noticed Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen sporting an unnamed, never-before-seen Jordan sneaker since the beginning of the 2008-09 NBA Playoffs. We now have a little information on this exclusive Jordan Brand model dubbed the Jordan Rulez.

First off, we have seen Ray Allen, Josh Howard, Mike Bibby and Joe Johnson all sporting the Jordan Rulez at one point in this year’s playoffs. It features a unique Air sole unit, contrast stitching on the toe area and perforations on the side panels. Allen’s PE features a black/white base with minimal ‘Celtic green’ accents throughout the upper. No word on when this sneaker will release to the public, but if they have the power to make you score 51 points (as did Allen last night), we are sure it will be a nice, well-approved basketball sneaker! Click here to check out Allen’s PEs.

Jordan Rulez

Posted: 01 May 2009 07:38 AM PDT

Jordan RulezWe’ve seen a lot of hybrid silhouettes come from the Jordan Camp. The Jordan Rulez is the latest silhouette to come from the creative heads at Jordan Brand. Breaking from the trend of hybrids and remakes, it is nice to see a new design and not just a combination of past Jordans.

The Jordan Rulez features pieces that you may be able to associate with previous releases, but then you can do that with any shoe. Two colorways have surfaced, both are simple favorites when placed on nearly any sneaker, and works well on the Jordan Rulez The Jordan Rulez features nicely laid out paneling on the uppers, as well as a unique twist on the Air Unit in the heel area. The Jumpman logo is placed on the ankle, and contrasting stitching offsets the toe area of the midsole.

What do you think about this new silhouette?
