Nike Air Trainer SC “Total Orange”

Posted: 19 Aug 2009 12:43 PM PDT

Nike Air Trainer SC Total OrangeWhile many of you might be saying that Jordan Brand has been opening up the vault and giving out the goodies with upcoming shoes including the Space Jams, Flu Games, and the Infrareds, Nike Training has been letting out quite a bit of great sneakers as well.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the famous BO KNOWS campaign as well as the introduction of the Nike Trainer 1.  Creating some energy for the new product as well as celebrating the history of shoes, Nike has brought out many of the great sneakers Bo Jackson trained in including the Nike Air Trainer 1, Nike Air Trainer II, Nike Air Trainer III, and now the Nike Air Trainer SC.  This original colorway debuted way back when in 1989 and ties back to Bo’s alma mater of Auburn University.

The Nike Air Trainer SC “Total Orange” is available now at select retailers including Proper in Long Beach, CA with a suggested retail price of $105.  Still no word about the Nike Air Trainer SC II

The Air Jordan 1 Phat Premier drops this fall at the Footlocker House of Hoops. We know Jordan dropped 60+ on the Celtics, is this new colorway a compliment to the boys in Beantown or adding insult to injury? Click here for more pics and to tell us what you think.

Air Jordan 2 + Air Jordan 3 Slam Dunk Pack

Posted: 19 Aug 2009 07:27 AM PDT

Air Jordan 2 Air Jordan 3 Slam Dunk PackRumors about upcoming retro Air Jordans is nothing new, but neither is the rumor of a “Slam Dunk Pack”.  Dating back to 2008 there were rumors that there would not be a Jordan 8/15 CDP since the two were both retroed only months before in the final months of 2007.  The idea was simple, but sounded so great to collectors.  A DMP consisting of the two shoes that Michael Jordan wore while winning his two Slam Dunk Contests - Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 3.

In Seattle for the 1987 Dunk Contest Michael Jordan wore the White/Black-Red Air Jordan II.  The following year, Michael Jordan wore the White/Black-Cement Air Jordan IIIs when he faced off against Dominique Wilkins in the finals.  On the final dunk Dominique scored a 45 leaving a little bit of room for MJ to take the title.  Sure enough, in amazing form, Michael Jordan did it with a 50 beating Wilkins and taking back to back Slam Dunk titles.

Back to the sneakers, this latest rumor started on a Korean sneaker blog.  We have yet to confirm from any of our credible Jordan sources whether or not this is true, but we do know that Jordan Brand has many great things planned for the 25th anniversary in 2010.  Hypothetically, if there was a Slam Dunk Pack to come out with a $310 would you purchase or pass?

Nike Air Force 1 x Futura “True” Pack

Posted: 18 Aug 2009 07:32 PM PDT

Nike Air Force 1 x Futura Nike and Futura have come together for yet another project waiting just over the holiday horizon. The Nike Air Force 1 x Futura “True” Pack will release in January of 2010 and is comprised of two versions of both the Air Force 1 Hi and Low. Translucent outsoles are utilized on all four colorways of this pack and each of them preserves “TRUE” in Futura’s iconic penmanship. Other notable facets of these forces include the pixilated tongue tags and insoles as well as the gradient pattern fading from the heel to the mid panel.

Click here for more shots of the shoes and let us know where these rank on your list of Nike x Futura work.

Nike Hyperize Team Colorways

Posted: 18 Aug 2009 03:41 PM PDT

Nike Hyperize Team ColorwaysNike gave us all a little taste of the Nike Hyperize when the shoe debuted in the US with the launch of the White Men Can’t Jump pack last month.  Since we have learned not to criticize, but rather Hyperize in a new ad campaign by Nike and Foot Locker.  It should be no surprise that Nike is rolling out their latest and greatest in the basketball category in a number of colorways including those in the team bank.

Six new colorways of the Nike Hyperize were just posted online at Nike Store, but if this shoe is going to receive the same treatment as the Hyperdunk, we can expect to see many more colorups soon.
