With a style only describable as "unique," Scott's taken ideas that on paper sound ridiculous and turned them into worldwife fashion trends. His work with adidas Originals has followed the same path. "You want to put a stuffed animal on the tongue of a shoe?" Needless to say, the quick sell-outs of all of Scott's sneaks have silenced even the loudest of haters. And with 2011 and 2012 poised to bring us even more JS work, we decided to offer up some suggestions for the designer in the spirit of his most recent drops. Check out the stuffed animal sneakers we think would make for some sick three stripe sneaks and let us know which else you'd like to see. GiraffeWho said the days of super high tops are over? With a giraffe on the tongue, your jeans would never drag, if nothing else. Be warned, though, you could take our your knee cap with these things. | Louisville Slugger x PRO-Keds Royal Hi Posted: 25 Aug 2011 11:55 AM PDT Following the PRO-Keds Royal CVO Wool Dark Green/Gum, we now have images of an upcoming collaborations between the storied brand and American baseball bat manufacturer Louisville Slugger. The Royal Hi was chosen as the silhouette for this joint effort. It features a highly detailed brown baseball glove leather upper with multiple Louisville Slugger branding elements, namely a baseball bat keychain. | Nike Air Max Ken Griffey Fury Freshwater/Dark Grey Posted: 25 Aug 2011 10:58 AM PDT No signature shoe has had a bigger break-out year than the Ken Griffey collection. With the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” already in circulation, it’s only appropriate that the soon-to-release Nike Air Max Ken Griffey Fury Freshwater/Dark Grey get some time in the spotlight. This pair features a hyperfused upper as well as a 360 degree Air Max unit. Fresh Water paneling zig zags are also used throughout the upper, while black mesh fills in the gaps. In detail, the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Lower Merion” will hit retailers on September 10, 2011. The Lower Merion colorway is a nod to the high school Kobe Bryant attended before he entered the NBA. It features a predominately Metallic Platinum snakeskin-like upper with various hints of Crimson on the Swoosh and Kobe tongue branding. Additionally, Cool Grey hints show up in the form of the midsole, heel panel and tongue.
