Posted: 03 Sep 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Air Max 95

This year, Nike has undoubtedly blessed us with classic colorways of the infamous Air Max 95. So far, Nike has unleashed the “Neon”, the “Fresh Water”, the “Chili” and the “Safety Orange”. However, if we deem those colorways ‘classic’, the Air Max 95’s that Nike will re-release next summer are nothing less than epic. During the summer of 2010, Nike will retro the Air Max 95 “Comet” and the Air Max 95 “Slate”. If you recall, these sneakers dropped in 2003 and 2005, respectively. Who else is excited upon hearing these two unmatched re-releasing? Are these two releases better than all of the Air Max 95’s that released this year? Click here to voice your opinion. Adidas OriginalsNew Zealand retailer Qubic hosted an Adidas Originals party last week, celebrating their ObyO line.

In addition, they asked 5 international sneaker enthusiasts to participate by designing their own pair of an Adidas throwback.

All five came up with something different, drawing inspiration from different sources within their lives, and putting forth their own footwear philosophy. Three different Adidas Originals models were used, with no design coming out similar to another.

Click here to see all five and get the inside scoop on each.

Nike Zoom Kobe IV Team

Posted: 03 Sep 2009 10:58 AM PDT

Nike Zoom Kobe IV

Earlier today, we informed you of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV Black/Metallic Gold-Concord that will release on October 17th, 2009. The comment section contained both positive and negative remarks about that specific colorway. However, team colorways of any sneaker are hard to go against, especially when they appeal to your own team colors. With that said, the RMK Store now has all of the Nike Zoom Kobe IV team colorways in stock.

Isn’t it nice to see the Kobe IV in different colorways than the traditional, Lakers-inspired black/purple-gold or white/purple-gold? The team colorways in this post consist of white/royal blue, white/red and black/yellow. In addition, we showed you the white/green version and white/purple colorways in mid-August. Now it is time to convince your respective basketball coaches to supply the team with Kobe IV’s! Click here to view detailed photos of three of the Kobe IV team colorways.

Nike Blazer High U White/Varsity Royal-Black

Posted: 03 Sep 2009 10:28 AM PDT

Nike Blazer

Nike Blazer fans have been taken care within the past couple of weeks. There is a lot to look forward to later this year and in 2010 to say the least. Along with the Nike Blazer Mid ND Club Purple we showed you at the end of August, Nike will also release this Nike Blazer High U during the spring of 2010.

As with previous Blazers we have seen, this particular shoe possesses a very simple color scheme and style. The white leather upper contrasts nicely with the all-black sole. In addition, the enlarged swoosh on the side panel is colored in royal blue. As another added feature, this Blazer also contains a premium black mesh inner lining. Although this Blazer will not officially release until 2010, OSneaker now has a size 9 in stock. Click here to view detailed photos.

LimitEDitions x Lacoste Indiana High

Posted: 03 Sep 2009 09:58 AM PDT

LimitEDitions x Lacoste Indiana HighIn what may seem like an unlikely pairing, Lacoste and Spain’s LimitEDitions have paired up on this Lacoste Indiana High sneaker retro.

The high-top tennis shoe’s white base with pink, teal and purple accents keeps the old-school appeal of the originals, which were nearly identical to this retro version. The original can be seen in the fist picture set below. Another small detail changed for 2009 is the placement of the LimitEDition logo on the tongue under Lacoste’s own logo.

It seems like every brand is bringing back classics as of late, and while Lacoste may not be the first choice in sneakers for many, these pair definitely succeeds at channeling an older era.

Original Air Yeezy’s for Doernbecher Auction

Posted: 03 Sep 2009 08:58 AM PDT

Original Air Yeezy's for Doernbecher AuctionJust when you thought you had escaped the Nike Air Yeezy madness, 2009’s biggest attention recipient has been announced as a part of the Doernbecher Charity Auction.

You may remember reading about the Air Jordan 6 Doernbecher Freestyle and the story behind its creation. Proceeds from the auction go to help the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. As mentioned above, it’s been announced that the original Kanye West signature shoe will be included in the auction. Two pairs, in fact.

The first is the black and gum pair Kanye wore at the 2008 Grammy Awards that set the internet on fire with anticipation for the eventual 2009 production versions. According to Chi McBride, who was on hand to announce this news with Jordan Brand Creative Director Mark Smith, Kanye had to give them back to Nike after the awards show. Kanye didn’t even see the second pair of Yeezy’s up to the highest bidder. Like the first pair, they’re all black leather, but these feature an Air Jordan 6 sole, also in all black.

Unless you’re ready to put up your house, car or savings for these super exclusive Nikes, pics will have to do, but rest assured that the absurd amount that is going to be paid for them is going to a great cause.

Jordan 60+ “Laney High School”

Posted: 03 Sep 2009 08:28 AM PDT

Jordan 60+ Laney

Surprisingly, the Jordan 60+ model has been a favorite amongst many people in the sneaker culture. The original colorway, which released at the beginning of August, launched the beginning of the Jordan 60+ releases. A month later, JB will release this Jordan 60+ “Laney High School” on September 19th, 2009. However, you can now find a few sizes on eBay.

First off, this particular sneaker draws most, if not all, of its inspiration from the infamous Air Jordan 5 Retro “Laney High School”. Furthermore, both pairs obviously pay tribute to Michael Jordan’s high school. This Jordan 60+, which takes elements from the the Air Jordan I, the Air Jordan II, the Air Jordan V and the Air Jordan VII, owns a predominately white leather upper with royal blue and varsity maize accents throughout the upper. Likewise, the sole features the same colors. As stated earlier, check out eBay to purchase your pair early.
