Posted: 29 Jul 2010 12:43 PM PDT As the World Basketball Festival grows closer to tipping off, we continue to see more and more national team PEs. Having already seen Brazil’s Zoom Hyperfuse and Puerto Rico’s twosome, we’re not getting a good look at the Hyperdunk 2010 PE for the Spanish team. White Flywire works as the base for the upper, while a bright red midsole, Swoosh and ankle have all been implemented for contrast. Golden yellow is the chosen hue for the sole forefoot, heel cup and ankle window. Pau Gasol won’t be playing in this year’s FIBA tournament but you can expect to see other Spaniards wearing these Nikes when the international games begin. Vans Vault Chukka Buckleback Brown Posted: 29 Jul 2010 12:28 PM PDT In mid-July, we showed you the newly-designed Vans Vault Chukka Buckleback in a Tan colorway and a Navy Blue colorway. Both are set to hit select retailers next month, along with this newly-surfaced Brown pair. The Vans Vault Chukka Buckleback features a simple yet stylish and classy silhouette. Its most intriguing element is the belt design seen on the heel of this sneaker. As for this pair, it features a tri-textured construction as opposed to the all-canvas makeup seen on the previous two pair. In detail, premium leather is spotted on the toe area, a canvas-like material on the side panels and suede on the heel. This Vans Vault Chukka Buckleback Brown will hit retailers in early August at select accounts. Nike Pepper Low Charcoal Snakeskin Posted: 29 Jul 2010 11:58 AM PDT We’ve seen a number of Nike Pepper Lows lately, but this shoe is sure to end up as one of our readers’ favorites. They may own a completely charcoal upper and matching sole, but that doesn’t begin to explain this shoe. Nubuck is used on the toe, heel and lower portion of the upper. Snakeskin fills out the upper and waxed laces finish off this shoe. These are a sample pair and no information has surfaced about them hitting retail. If they do, would you grab a pair? Nike Trainer 1.2 “Mike Schmidt” Posted: 29 Jul 2010 11:28 AM PDT A couple of weeks ago, Nike unleashed the Trainer 1.2 “Legends” Pack which spotlighted world class athletes such as Ken Griffey Jr., Nolan Ryan, Albert Pujols and Bo Jackson. Nike has finally released the last installment of this pack in the form of the Nike Trainer 1.2 “Mike Schmidt”. This pair pays tribute to former major league third baseman and Philadelphia Phillies member Mike Schmidt. It incorporates a color scheme that the Phillies sported in the 1980s. It also features a unique number logo that honors one of his many record-breaking statistics on the heel. The Nike Trainer 1.2 “Mike Schmidt”, along with the rest of the “Legends” Pack, is now available at Eastbay for $90 each. Air Jordan Fusion 4 “Laser” Detailed Photos Posted: 29 Jul 2010 10:58 AM PDT Like with any Fusion, the Air Jordan Fusion 4 elicited a wide variety of responses from readers. Some feel the AJF4 is the best of the series, while other felt it was disgraceful for Jordan Brand to turn such a collectible Air Jordan colorway into a Fusion. Regardless of which way you’re leaning, this new photo set is the bets look we’ve seen to date. The upper owns a completely laser engraved nubuck construction. Air Jordan silhouettes are the chosen object for the print that repeats numerous times all over. A translucent midsole complete with Air Max is used underneath. Varsity Red appears on the liner, laces and heel branding. How do you feel about this Fusion?
