Nike Blazer ACG Premium “X-Ray”

Posted: 15 Oct 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Blazer ACG Premium "X-Ray"

You didn’t think the kids would be the only ones getting a Blazer with skeleton feet on it, did you? For the adult set, a similar Blazer High is now available at the Nike Sportswear store at 21 Mercer in New York. Like the little brother sneaker, these feature skeletal feet on either side.

Unlike the GS release, these Blazers come in heavy duty ACG trim, with the fortified sole, just in case the weather’s nasty come trick-or-treating time. The intended effect for these was to appear like an X-Ray, as the feet are not only a translucent white, but the finish is also very shiny, almost patent, leather. If you’re going as a skeleton on October 31, or are just feeling these, head down to 21 Mercer starting today and pick these up before you starting asking for candy.

Nike “Matagi” Pack

Posted: 15 Oct 2009 11:58 AM PDT

Nike Matagi Pack

Taking a cue from this Terminator High Supreme, the Nike “Matagi” Pack will release as quickstrike just in time for Winter very soon. The Air Baked Mid QS and Air Macropus Lite QS are both dropping in very “high-fashion” trim, using some wild animal accents.

The Air Baked Mid is a dressed up mid version of the Footscape. Here, the liner is animal fur and the upper is made of brown suede, contrasting over the stone colored sole. The other pair in this pack, the Macropus Lite, we’ve seen before as half of the “Winter Journey” Pack, in Native-American dressing. This time, they’re completely white and covered in what appears to be pony hair, over the same colored sole as the Baked Mid. The heel pull tab also gets a new treatment, having added a loop for helping put them on. Be on the lookout for both of these soon.

Nike Ace ‘83 Autoclave “Houndstooth”

Posted: 15 Oct 2009 10:58 AM PDT

The most recent Nike to get the AC treatment is this Ace ‘83, which is now available at select sneaker stores. The Ace isn’t known nearly as well as the other Nikes to get this sole like the Dunk TZ or Delta Force, but these have a nice subtlety to them thanks to their brown leather makeup.

The Swoosh offsets the brown upper with a tan hue, which have subtle monochromatic details on it. A thin black stripe divides the AC sole from the upper, breaking the color scheme. The namesake “Houndstooth” pattern is used for the liner, mixing tan, brown and accent colors. A touch we haven’t seen in awhile is the “Nike” text on the sole.

Are you feeling this most recent Autoclave from Nike, or is it time for a different sort of “D.O.A.?”

A.P.C. x Nike All Court White/Black

France’s A.P.C. has gained a lot of notoriety with the streetwear and hip hop set with their high dollar denim and their work with Supreme. Next up are these All Court sneakers in white they’ve created with Nike.

These are dressed from heel to toe in white canvas with accents in black on the liner and Swoosh. The large rubber toe that makes the All Court unique is back in white. A nice detail on the upper is the white stitching behind the Swooshes, running parallel and vertical. The tongue label reads “A.P.C.” rather than the standard Nike label.

If you’re after a pair of these simple collaborative sneakers, they can be had at A.P.C.’s online store for about $140.
