The newly-developed Jordan Flight SC-1 has been highly-criticized and continues to garner a lot of hate with every new colorway we show; on the contrary, the Jordan Flight 45 Hi has been well-received amongst many of you with every passing color. We have now learned that the Jordan Flight 45 Hi will release in three new colorways of the next three months. The Jordan Flight 45 black/university blue shown above seen above seems more ideal for a winter release considering its all-black suede/mesh construction; yet, the university blue contrast stitching gives this shoe a extra flair. The same can be said about the Jordan Flight 45 Hi black/varsity red-citrus-White which also possesses a vibrant contrast stitching attribute. Lastly, the multi-colored Jordan Flight 45 Hi, which features a white/spice-light retro-wolf grey, seems perfect for the summer. Atlanta rapper Jeezy (he dropped the ‘Young’ if you didn’t know) is one of many rappers set to heat up the summer by releasing an album in the coming months. His lead off single, titled Lose My Mind, is undoubtedly a radio station favorite currently. However, there are other aspects pertaining to Jeezy that will make us lose our mind according to Complex. Complex chose Jeezy as the focal point of their latest installment of Greatest Footwear Moments. Within the past year, we have spotted Jeezy rocking some nice sneakers including the Blazer, the Air Jordan 1 PHAT Premier and the Converse Chuck Taylor. A new colorway has surfaced of the PUMA First Round Maxx. A vulcanized outsole sets the stage for a predominately black upper with large doses of white and high risk red accents. The shoe features intricate detail with a white rising sun graphic emerging from the black leather backdrop, contrast stitching on the logo, and a padded collar. A few weeks ago, we showed you yet another colorway of the Jordan Rare Air in Black/Red-Cement. However, we have now spotted what may be one of the better colorways seen on this newly-designed sneaker. This particular Jordan Rare Air features a mainly cool grey suede upper; this smooth and subtle material is also placed on top of a white and ink-colored midsole/outsole. If you recall, the ink color scheme was spotted recently on an upcoming Nike Zoom Kobe V. Finishing Air Jordan 3/Air Jordan 5 inspirations include lace locks and subtle hints of elephant print. Many purists have criticized the recent lack of originality and innovation within Jordan Brand. How does the Jordan Rare Air stack up against the rest of the Jordan hybrids we have seen? The Chicago Bulls have improved dramatically this past season and although uncertainties remain on whether they can add the likes of Lebron James to the team this summer, the Chicago Bulls organization are certain that they have a very young and talented team with players such as Luol Deng. Averaging nearly 18 points a game this season, Deng has deservedly received several PEs from Nike this past season. Earlier this May, we showed you a Luol Deng-branded pair of Nike Huarache 2010s. We now have official pictures of a Deng branded pair of Nike Air Max A Lots. Nike has recently been rapidly producing player editions of this sneaker for several players. In this pair of Air Max A Lots, there is a very close resemblance to the pair created for Jermaine O’Neal. Black leather is used as the primary color and material throughout the upper. Unlike the pairs created for OJ Mayo, no colors are used to pipe the “AIR” printed on the sides. Differences between the Deng and O’Neal Nike Air Max A Lots include a darker red used on the outsole, an all-red tongue, and a red/white gradient element on the midsole. Two new colorways of the Nike Air BW Gen II have been spotted, with a release scheduled for sometime in the Fall. The first utilizes an Obsidian blue upper of suede, mesh and Torch, and could very well be linked to the Air Maxim 1 and Air Max 1 “Omega” Pack. Red accents on the laces, liner and heel help brighten the dark build, as do numerous reflective elements. The other pair is black but shows hits of charcoal grey and reflective panels. | Michael Jordan Statue puts Reebok on Thin Ice Posted: 02 Jun 2010 09:58 AM PDT 
Don’t worry readers, this is not another Fusion. Recently, the famous Michael Jordan statue in front of Chicago’s United Center had been dressed in hockey attire to celebrate the Chicago Blackhawk’s run in the Stanley Cup Finals. As many of you know, the famous statue depicts MJ wearing the Air Jordan 9. However, a skate blade was attached to the soles. The problem? A Reebok skate was attached. Within 48 hours, a Nike sticker was placed over the Reebok logo. Reports are now speculating that this was the work of a fan and not industry heads at Nike or JB, however, this isn’t the first time Reebok, Jordan, and the Blackhawks have crossed paths. Last spring, Jordan attended a Blackhawks game in a personalized “23″ Blackhawks sweater. MJ did some additional personalization covering up all Reebok logos on the jersey.
