Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Dark Green

Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski Dark Green

The Nike SB Zoom Stefan Janoski signature has seen every color-up and material treatment imaginable it seems, from wool to canvas to leather and so forth. And next Spring, we’ll get a chance at one of the more simple designs in this dark green pair.

Dark green nubuck is used for the base here, covering the toe and heel sections. Interjecting along the midfoot is brown corduroy, keeping the colorway natural. A dark green Swoosh appears on the mid-panel to bring the color blocking full circle.  A white vulcanized sole is also used, as we’ve grown accustomed to seeing on this sneaker.

Jordan 16.5 Georgetown Hoyas PE

College basketball is in full effect! Following the Jordan 16.5 UNC PE we showed you last week, we now have a first look at the Jordan 16.5 Georgetown Hoyas PE.

The Georgetown Hoyas PE contains a more subtle color design than the aforementioned UNC PE. It simply features a predominately white leather base with a black patent leather strip around the entire sneaker. Navy blue accents are seen throughout the upper as well, while the school logo is seen on the tongue. In addition, GTOWN appears on the heel panel. Click here to view more photos.

adidas Consortium “City Pack” Crooked Tongues & Colette

Posted: 15 Dec 2009 11:58 AM PST

adidas Consortium "City Pack" Crooked Tongues & Colette

The latest round of adidas Consortium releases has hit retailers, including these two collaborations with London’s Crooked Tongues and Parisian retailer Colette. If you recall the last time we saw these, in round 3 of the “Your City” Packs, they were designed along Tokyo- and Toronto-inspired pairs.

For the London pair, Crooked Tongues used a grey base for its upper, inspired by the CT team’s need for “Pub-proof” sneakers, though red suede interjects on the classic three stripes design. Colette’s design is more colorful and playful, as a white upper is accented with red, purple and blue polka dots on its stripes and heel. These have hit select retailers, so now’s your chance to grab a pair.

Nike Zoom Hustle Black/Electrolime

Posted: 15 Dec 2009 10:58 AM PST

Nike Zoom Hustle Black/Electrolime

The Nike Zoom Hustle is dropping in a new colorway this weekend, using simple color blocking with a inversely loud color scheme. These will hit the shelves at House of Hoops locations nationwide.

For the majority of the upper, perforated black leather is the material of choice. The midsole is wrapped with electrolime leather, creating a huge contrast. The toe, ankle and tongue are not perforated however, as solid black leather is used instead. Matching the shiny black Swoosh is an accent piece on the toe, while other bits of the neon color appear throughout. The laces are multicolor and appear to be similar to those on the Nike Zoom Kobe V.
