| Nike Air Max LeBron VII “Red Carpet” Detailed Look Posted: 01 Nov 2009 09:58 AM PST  Feast your eyes upon these photos of the Nike Air Max Lebron VII Red Carpet. The Red Carpet name is apt for this make-up as it is, so far, the most flamboyant colorway of the LeBron VII. On the same note, this version is a better fit for the streets than the court because the typical flywire has been replaced with a heavier but neck-breaking nylon weave. The teal accenting on the shoe can’t go unnoticed. Props to Nike for going as far as lending a teal tint to the full-length air unit. There is also subtle red-orange accenting on the shoe that is highlighted if the black laces are substituted for the alternate red-orange laces. Aside from the Red Carpet’s unique characteristics, these detailed images also offer a close look at the intricate design facets of all LeBron VIIs. On the heel just above the air unit are and “L” and “J” imprinted in script on the left and right shoe respectively. These imprints mimic the tattoos on LeBron’s left and right triceps. On the laces, in place of dubres, are attached plastic slivers reading “LeBron” and “James.” These keep the laces fresh while providing a lighter alternative to heavier metal dubres. Within the collar are cushy Achilles cradles. As many of you know, these are a welcomed aid to ankle comfort and support. So, while you ravenously await and salivate, stash away a stack so you can cop these when they drop in November. | Supra TK Society “X-Games” to Release in November Posted: 31 Oct 2009 07:28 PM PDT  When we showed you the Supra TK Society “X-Games” colorways at the end of July (around the time of this year’s X-Games), many of you stated that you would definitely purchase this sneaker if it released. However, we will now see if you are a man/woman of your word. With that said, we have just received word that the Supra TK Society “X-Games” will finally get a release date some time in November. According to Supra, they have…”decided to drop a limited run of these hyper-colored TK's after hearing your cries for blood.” Supra will release 600 pairs of each colorway in late November.
