Several months back, we posted a story about a set of Vans Chukkas that put a really classy spin on the traditional Chukka with Paddington Bear steeze.

The shoes feature a peacoat upper along with a heel strap accent that is finished off with the signature peacoat anchor button. Thanks to the folks at Daily Drop, you can now find the Peacoat Pack at colette in a navy and heather grey colorway.

Nike Hyperize HOH “Philadelphia Pack”

A new House of Hoops location is opening this weekend at Cherry Hill Mall in New Jersey, and Nike is dropping a special set of Nike Hyperize to commemorate the event. The “Philadelphia Pack“, inspired by the city across the river from Cherry Hill, will include two fresh colorways.

The first colorway drops on August 15th, and takes a cue from last year’s World Series champions, the Phillies, with a red, white, and blue mix-up and green argyle insole. The second colorway drops August 16th, and seems to be influenced by PA brethren, Pittsburgh, with the yellow and maize motif.

No details on availability, but you can most likely expect the “Philadelphia Pack” to be a limited release for House of Hoops.

Reebok Classic Remix Collection: Fabolous

Reebok continues its Classic Remix Collection, working with some dope artists like Kid Sister, Kidz In The Hall, and B.o.B. The latest series comes from superstar MC, Fabolous which is available in stores now.

The collection features five shoes including interpretations of the Classic Leathers, Tejara, SL7010, and the Workout Hi in some pretty simple, yet clean colorways.

The Collection also incorporates the “Buy a pair, get a pair” promotion for the Classic Remix Concert Series. If you live in Atlanta, Miami, New Orleans, Houston, or NYC, you get a pair of Fabo concert tickets for every pair of shoes you purchase.

History of Yo! MTV Raps Puma Sneakers

Puma teamed up with MTV to bring back the good days of not only when there was actually music on MTV, but quality, classic hip hop. An initial run of Yo! MTV Raps x Puma Clydes were dropped in ridiculously numbers, but since the first release there have been many re-runs of the series.

New Balance MT580 Spring 2010 Colorway

Over the past few years, New Balance has been steadily streaming the MT580 model with several interesting and cleanly-executed colorways.

Here’s a look at an upcoming colorway for Spring 2010 that features a muted grey/white/black upper and electric blue accents in the lining, heel tab, and midsole. Additional features like the 3M logo and speckled outsole make for some nice additions to bring the shoe together.

The shoe drops in February 2010, and will be available at most New Balance retailers for $100.

C2 x Leaders1354 Nike Dunk Hi

The crew at Chi-town’s Leaders 1354 just posted a teaser pic of an upcoming Nike Dunk Hi collaboration.

At a glance, it seems that the shoe could take cues from the “Neon” Air Max 95 with the gradient side panel and Neon Green Swoosh and stitching. With the Neons solidified status as one of the most heralded shoes in Nike’s catalog, AM and Dunk heads worldwide will definitely be checking for the C2 x LDRS1354 production.

The shoe drops August 21, 2009 and is limited to a measly 12 pairs so definitely expect the hype to grow as the we get closer to the release date.

Louis Vuitton takes off New Balance 574

Louis Vuitton x New Balance 574 For the past several years Louis Vuitton has made big strides in the men’s footwear market, especially with creating luxury sneakers. The brand received major buzz in the fashion, music, and sneaker industries this year as they announced their partnership with Kanye West to create a series of limited silhouettes.

With the momentum of this major collaboration one would expect to see more great things to come from the LV camp. Unfortunately, when we caught a glimpse of this fall’s lineup, we saw a few too many familiar silhouettes made famous by other companies. The one that caught our attention the most was a take off on the New Balance 574. Besides minute changes such as toebox details and added metal eyelets the shoes are virtually identical. Louis Vuitton works with some of the biggest and brightest in the fashion industry, partnering with designers like Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami. That said, one would expect a higher commitment from LV to imparting freshness to their upcoming collection while still demanding such prices. No word yet on the pricing of these Louis Vuitton sneakers, but it would be safe to assume that they carry a tag that is 10 fold that of the 574.
