| Jordan Evolution ’85 St. Pat’s & Oak Hill PEs Posted: 20 Jan 2011 12:28 PM PST To gear up national high school basketball powerhouse Oak Hill and St. Pat’s for their ESPN Rise Showcase games this past week, Jordan Brand prepared the Evolution ’85 in special team-based colorways. Both shoes rely on black nubuck uppers with white outsoles and yellow midsole accents, eyelets and embroidery. The Oak Hill shoe is further accentuated by deep red on the liner and midsole in the same vein the St. Pat’s shoe is treated to green. Don’t expect a general release for either sneaker. | Jeremy Scott x adidas Fall 2011 Preview Posted: 20 Jan 2011 11:13 AM PST Jeremy Scott’s ongoing work with adidas has been nothing less than intriguing to say the least. His unique styles on the adidas Originals JS continue to amaze sneaker enthusiast (see “Panda”, “Teddy Bear”, “Fire”). Photos of more upcoming Jeremy Scott x adidas joint efforts continue to surface via the Bread & Butter event in Berlin. Jeremy Scott redid the adidas Street Ball model using reptilian-like attributes such as the iridescent skin on the toe box and the green cheetah print on the side panels. It also possesses the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals crest on the tongue. The other pair, an adidas Freemont, also contains some animal-like details. A cheetah print design borders the entire upper just above the sole and on the heel, while bone-shaped figures grace the midfoot. View additional photos below. This Sunday, January 23, the H-Town Sneaker Summit will be holding their highly anticipated annual Winter Event at The Toyota Center, also known as the home of the Houston Rockets NBA Franchise. Prior to this upcoming event, the H-Town Sneaker Summit was held at The Meridian downtown, therefore, the new venue will play host to a plethora of displays from boutiques, brands, and collectors alike displaying rare collectibles to the latest fashions. Special Features for the event include an Exclusive Brand Showcase by Crooks & Castles which will include their new footwear collection! The H-Town Sneaker Summit will also host a Meet and Greet with The Cool Kids at Toyota Center from 5pm-7pm before they head over to Warehouse Live for the Official Sneaker Summit After Show to give both participants and attendees a chance to wind down and celebrate the monumental event. Recently, our homie Bun B revealed a photo of this Nike Air Max TR1+ 360 “112″ via Twitter. Bun B also accompanied the photo with this message: All I gotta say is see you Sunday #HTownSneakerSummit #TeamATF. The predominately black upper is contrasts nicely with the Volt Flywire and other volt accents such as the swoosh, shoelaces and Max Air sole. Elephant print appears on the heel, while reflective 3M covers the toe cap. In addition to the Black/Vibrant Blue and White/Varsity Red Air Max 90s, Nike has released this Pecan/Black-Varsity Royal at select retailers worldwide. A rich, dark pecan brown leather texture appears on the mudguard, while mesh of the same color appears on the toe box, collar and tongue. Its contrasting features include black leather (along the midfoot), a varsity royal swoosh and a white midsole. View detailed photos below.
