The new sneaker from Jordan Brand is the Jordan Prime V (5). We featured the first sneaker which is the Prime 5 Varsity Red/Metallic Silver colorway few days ago. Along with its January 2011 release is the disposal of another version; a Jordan Prime 5 in Grape purple and Metallic silver makeup. Here we know that the Jordan Prime V (5) will come in combo pack. Check the “Grape” sneaker in photos after the break. We might expect other colorways soon.
European beat artist, Swizz Beatz, collaborated with Reebok for this interesting sneaker of his own. A high-top sneaker which feature some cue designs from the Iverson and Kamikaze models might be available next month. Swizz Beatz x Reebok sneaker makeup utilizes yellow color on the uppers, benzene ring patterns, and the outsole. A good contrasting application of black hue has work on the lacing pattern, mid-sole, inner part of the shoe, and the branding on the tongue. Stay tuned for the official release date of the sneaker.
One of the biggest surprises in our holiday-themed Kicks On Court was the new sneakers worn by the Jordan Brand athletes. Of course, Dwyane Wade turned heads by debuting the Air Jordan 2011 on court; yet, the sneaker selections of Ray Allen and Quentin Richardson caught many by surprise. Many thought the two players were wearing PE versions of the Air Jordan 12 or the Jordan Alpha Team 1. However, we can now confirm that this shoe is the Jordan Hardcourt Classic. This sneaker actually draws a lot of design inspiration from the aforementioned, 1997 released Jordan Alpha Team 1 which was designed specifically for college/high school players. The most glaring difference between the Jordan Alpha Team 1 and this Hardcourt Classic is the visible Air unit seen throughout the sole. It is safe to say Jordan Brand is putting a lot into its performance-based product as of late. The Jordan Hardcourt Classic will hit retailers some time in January 2011. What are your preliminary thoughts on the Jordan Hardcourt Classic? View these kicks, plus photos of Ray Allen and Quentin Richardson wearing them.

The legendary Alexander McQueen passed in early 2010, but his cutting edge designs remain a stronghold in both high fashion and urban design. Having put together a long-running series of sneakers for PUMA, McQueen prepared the final marks on his legacy before his untimely passing. The Street Climb Mid and Low will appear in very clean grey and navy blue builds, respectively. Though not illustrative of his most outrageous work, these PUMAs still do justice to Alexander’s name.

Living legend and sneakerhead Eric Koston has had signature models with a number of skate brands, but his upcoming Nike SB silhouette may be the most impressive yet. The skateboarder teases his fans and Twitter followers with a preview of the upcoming sneaker, including a look at the innovative Lunarlon insole. The shoe itself looks to sports a simple but attractive design, but its cushioning is the real story. This model will mark the first time we’ve ever seen Lunarlon in a skate shoe, but don’t expect it to be the last. Expect more information to surface in the near future.
Much like the reoccurring “Dunkman” theme, the “Summit Lake Hornets” color scheme will always be apart of the Nike Basketball LeBron signature line. The Summit Lake Hornets was the team LeBron James first played organized basketball for back in his middle school days. As for this Nike LeBron 8 V2′s makeup, it features a mainly black base much like the Nike LeBron VII P.S. “Summit Lake Hornets” that released earlier this year. Reflective 3M sits atop the midfoot area, while teal accents appear in the form of the tongue border and swoosh. In addition, a darker blue shade is seen on the laces, swoosh border and speckled sole. No word on when or if this shoe will release; yet stay tuned, as more info should surface soon.
