Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0

Posted: 26 Oct 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Converse Chuck Taylor

Reebok and streetwear label Orchard Street continue their ongoing collaboration using some unique, multi-colored attributes. This year, we have already spotted their collaborative work on the Pump Omni Hexride, the Re-Up, the Answer 13 and the Fuze 1.0. Now, both sides have joined efforts on a second colorway of the latter model which is now available at Reebok’s and Orchard Street’s online store, respectively.

First off, the Reebok Fuze 1.0 is a fairly new model style in Reebok’s collection. It seems to be a nice, subtle design with distinctive features such as the unique shoelace construction along with the  two-strap velcro design seen on the forefoot area and the heel panel. As for the colorway, this shoe possesses a mainly grey base with the forefoot owning a light grey colorup and the side panel, collar area and heel panel appearing in a darker grey. Is this Fuze 1.0 better than the first colorway.

Nike SB Dunk High Black/White-Gum

Nike SB Dunk High - Black/White-Gum

The Nike SB team’s Twitter accounts have hit us up with a ton of good leaks lately. While it’s normally Stefan Janoski who gets us looks at his own signatures, its Kevin Imamura who gives us these Dunk Highs in black, white and gum.

These appear to be made of a matte-finish material; either canvas or suede. The overall look is very reminiscent of the tier zero A.R.C. x Nike “Black, White, Gum & Bang”. It also looks like of the three shoes Eric Koston is hoisting, the top air uses a lighter shade of gum, so there’s a good chance these are still just in the sample stages for the time being. Also, notice that Koston is rocking the Nike SB Stefan Janoski is Obsidian we just reported on this past weekend.

The Clash x Converse Chuck Taylor Lineup

Posted: 26 Oct 2009 11:58 AM PDT

Converse Chuck Taylor

Recently, Converse has been involved in a number of collaborations including the “Love” Pack and the 1HUND(RED) One Star. In addition, Converse has hooked up with music band The Clash and designed a mini-lineup of the Chuck Taylor.

This lineup features a nice mixture of subtle and head-turning colorways and designs on the timeless Chuck Taylor. The subtle designs consist of two predominately white leather base with minimal colored accents on the shoelaces and the sole. Specifically, one shoe has the word, London scripted on the sole in pink, while the other shoe features the word Calling in the same area colored in green. These color accents represent  the music band’s triple-LP (London Calling) art cover. The other two Chuck Taylor designs feature a primarily olive green upper and a black-based pair, respectively. Each pair possesses specific attributes in regards to the music band. The lineup will be available during the spring of 2010. Click here to view the pack in its entirety.

Vans Vault Mok Collection

Vans Vault Mok Collection

4 more takes on classic Vans silhouettes have been done up for this Fall and Winter season, using a moccasin-inspired design for the Chukka boot and Slip-On. They’re all available now at select Vault dealers.

The Chukka comes in brown or black, just as the Slip-On does, with vulcanized white soles. Leather liners are used in matching hues on both models, as well. The real design cue that sets these apart from previous Vans we’ve seen is the moccasin stitching around the toes. Both also use a triangle design for the heel accent strip and draped in suede. Finally, the Chukka gets a leather accent piece on the insides of the uppers.

Nike Auto Flight Anthracite

Posted: 26 Oct 2009 10:58 AM PDT

Nike Auto Flight

The Nike Auto Force and the Nike Auto Flight have surprisingly received a lot of positive remarks since photos first surfaced in April. The latter sneaker has been seen in more colorways such as black/infrared, red/yellow and the “LA”. In addition, Nike has just released yet another Auto Flight colorway at select retailers across the nation.

The anthracite color scheme is often used by Nike with the most recent being the Alpholution, the Air Force 1 and the Air Griffey Max 1. With that said, Nike has applied the aforementioned color scheme to the Auto Flight. The predominance of the base is done up in anthracite, while minimal black accents appear in the form of the swoosh, shoelaces and the inner lining. As with previous Auto Flight colorways, this particular shoe is finished with a white vulcanized rubber sole. Is this the best Auto Flight colorway yet?

adidas Samba Green/Black

Posted: 26 Oct 2009 10:28 AM PDT

adidas Samba - Green/Black

adidas is after the heart of Celtics fans yet again. Last week got a look at a Centennial Mid “Boston Celtics” and many of you loved the design, but not the high cut of the sneaker itself. While these Sambas may not carry the actual team logo, the colorway is right out of the Boston Garden.

The uppers are green suede, and the black leather stripes are also back. The heel tab is also made with black leather. The stripes, toe panel, eyestays and heel panel also all utilize white contrast stitching. Sambas have been around for as long as many of us can remember, and while many of us aren’t still using them for soccer, the appeal of this classic is near undeniable.
