Jordan Brand kicked off last summer with a re-release of the Air Jordan 9 White/Black-University Blue and released a similarly colored Air Jordan 9 towards the end of summer 2010. In detail, this particular Air Jordan 9 was released in unison with the World Basketball Festival as part of the Air Jordan “For the Love of the Game” Pack. Unlike the aforementioned Air Jordan 9 White/Black-University Blue, this shoe was extremely limited and only showed up at select retailers nationwide. White patent leather pairs with a University Blue midfoot to form an almost reverse color scheme to that seen on the Air Jordan 9 White/Black-University Blue.

Converse's skate kicks have been a highlight of this week, from the introduction of the KA-One to our peek at the upcoming Fall/Winter lineup. This new take on the Trapasso Ox for fall isn't dropping the ball though, thanks to impeccably functional design. A vulcanized sole with Chuck Taylor tooling provides a base for the navy blue and white upper. Thick suede ensures its durability and the simple, heritage inspired design makes it wearable by just about anyone. Look for this one in stores soon.

With most of the attention and hype these days going to the ASICS Gel Lyte III, its only fair to give the lighter and more compact ASICS GT-II some additional face time. Today, we take a look at the all new black, silver and white colorway of this low-cut runner that has begun popping up at select retailers. This pair features metallic silver tone on the majority of the toe box and side panels and is accented with black and white hits on the toe cap, heel panel and side panel branding. Is Frank Ocean having the best week ever? Two appearances on Watch The Throne, the cover of The FADER, and a headlining role in Celebrity Sneaker Stalker ain't bad. Competition for the top spot is thick as we catch Drake performing in unreleased LeBrons and Curren$y hitting the stage in grail status Jordans. Though the aforementioned three kept it hot we also find out that Melo doesn't just wear Js in the Garden and that J. Cole doesn't just wear Js. What was on their feet? It is safe to say the “South Beach” Nike LeBron 8 has inspired a countless number of sneaker designs over the past year (see our This Day In Sneaker History: LeBron James and "The Decision"). We have now spotted another South Beach inspired release in the form of the Supra “MIA” Pack. This three-sneaker grouping consists of the Skytop, the Skylow and the TK Society. Each sneaker possesses a primarily tumbled full grain leather base with minimal salmon accents and teal canvas areas. Additional elements include a white, vulcanized sole, black waxed laces and light grey foxing tape. The Supra “MIA” Pack is now available at SUPRA retailers worldwide and at suprafootwear.com.
