Now it is back in two fresh colorways with a combination of suede and mesh upper draped in a snake-skin-like finish and with an ENCAP cushioned sole. Nike has been showing samples of basketball players’ signature shoes for future releases prior to the 2009-2010 NBA season. Among the spotlight’s favorites is the Air Max LeBron VII which has a Flywire design on the side panels, a patent leather on the toe area, and Air Max Technology on the sole. New Balance 577 Spring 2010 Preview

New Balance has some classic running silhouettes, the 577 is definitely one that falls into that category. The 577 originated in the late 80’s, and has since seen a resurgence since the turn of the century.

The New Balance 577 will return in at least two colorways for the Spring of 2010. Aside from the tried and true combination of suede and mesh, the mid panel of each of these upcoming colorways is wrapped in a snake skin-like finish. Comfort in the 577 silhouette can be attributed to ENCAP cushioning.

Vans Sk8-Hi “Division One” Pack

In mid-June, we notified you of the Vans “CA” Pack that had released at select retailers. It contained two simple yet stylish colorways of the Vans Sk8-Hi. In the same manner, Vans has dropped a very similar release in the form of the Vans Sk8-Hi “Division One” Pack.

The “Division One” Pack also consists of two colorways of the Vans Sk8-Hi. One pair features a blue canvas upper (shown to the right), while the remaining pair possesses a red canvas upper (shown here). Both colorways also feature a white, vulcanized rubber sole and tonal shoelaces. Available now at Premiere. Thanks to Daily Drop for the heads up.

Boat shoes, or deck shoes, whichever term you prefer, always seem to have a place in most collections. Recently we’ve seen the Mad Jibe make an appearance, and today, we have a look at the Vans rendition of a boat shoe.

The Vans Del Barco Low will be dropping in two colorways for the upcoming holiday season. Premium materials are combined with the boat shoe like upper, classic Vans vulcanized sole, and the toebox found on the Sk8 Hi. The overall package creates a unique look that should be well received when these hit retailers later this year.

The Nike SB Dunk High that is dropping this month at SB retailers.

The Nike SB Dunk High “Ms. Piggy” is Quickstrike release for July. These Dunks feature a combination of black, pink and yellow. A combination of leather and suede makes up the uppers of this latest Dunk. Which leaves the question, does Ms. Piggy or Mr. Pacman make a better Dunk High?

Lil Wayne’s Custom Supra Skytop Created by CLVII

At the end of June, we spotlighted Lil Wayne wearing his then-unidentified, custom Supra Skytop at the BET Awards. At the time, no one knew who had made this unique Skytop for the him; Supra itself did not even know where the shoes came from! However, it was only a matter of time before new surfaced on Lil Wayne’s custom Supra Skytop.

Supposedly, this Skytop was designed by the Berlin and Paris based store CLVII. It has also been reported that the aforementioned store gave this shoe to Wayne as a 26th birthday present. With that said, the tongue imprints now make more sense. What are your thoughts on the CLVII-designed Supra Skytop for Lil Wayne?

DC Shoes x Mike Blabac Azure Mid

DC Shoes has stepped outside the confines of the sneaker game normalcy by creating the company’s first signature shoe for a non-professional athlete. Famed skate photographer Mike Blabac receives his own version of the DC Azure Mid to celebrate his first book, and his longtime leadership in skate photography, as well as 10 years with DC.

The DC Shoes x Mike Blabac Azure Mid is done up in a combination of dark chocolate and oyster colors with orange accents. Premium materials were chosen, including suede and leather, with Blabac’s namesake across the tongue. The photo book and kicks will be available on July 15th at DCShoes.com/blabac10.
