Nike Dunk High & Low “Icons” Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:58 PM PST ![nike-dunk-high-low-icons-lead](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/blogger_img_proxy/AEn0k_uFZjgbdvcFMNj3JMKhX5rGWHjkI80ShbxBuxcqDmqpmQoTKXrNM0QFNFZVoxQbKwlybmTXms4deWc8Oz0K9MEAO11cN93Qcf-ZG3fAcf-rU5wXBXY0WiGE46QJcxJaM3ZX_ea3tDRW=s0-d) The most recent round of Nike Dunks keep things simple and keep the “University” theme going. A High and a Low just dropped at Proper, and orange is the obvious majority color of choice. The High has been seen a few times here on Nice Kicks, and has hit select retailers, but the current stock should give anyone who slept on them another shot a pair. The Lows also use a Syracuse-inspired colorway, though they use far more blue. Royal is used all over, including the outsole, but the orange accents are still used. Head over to the L.A. spot and grab yours now. Nike Big Nike “Valentine’s Day” Posted: 28 Jan 2010 12:28 PM PST How many Valentine’s Day inspired sneakers does Nike have in the vault? We have already seen the Air Force 1, Aerofit, the Dunk and the Dynasty dressed in Valentine’s Day color schemes. Now, we have photos of the Nike Big Nike “Valentine’s Day”. Nike decided to primarily dress this sneaker in the secondary Valentine’s Day color. It is mostly done up in a pink leather as opposed to a mainly red sneaker we usually see to honor Valentine’s Day. However, it still features a lot of red accents such as midsole, shoelaces, tongue border and inner lining. Nike also incorporated a written ‘love’ message on the nylon tongue; maybe some of you guys can use this message instead of buying a card this year. This Big Nike is available at select retailers now. Nike Trainer SC 2010 Pack Posted: 28 Jan 2010 11:58 AM PST Just yesterday we took a look at two new colorways of the updated Nike Trainer SC 2010. Keeping the ball rolling today are two more colorways, which are set to release as a two-pack on February 10th. While it looked like one of the aforementioned pairs was inspired by the original “Auburn” colorway, this pair may be the definitive translation of the look onto this recent silhouette. Orange flywire zips up the side of the white upper, while a grey mudguard and other key points are hit with purple accents. The other pair uses a light tan leather for its upper’s majority and is dedicated to Albert Pujols. As one of the MLB’s biggest and baddest players, Pujols’ physical prowess is comparable to Bo’s, but in the modern era. Deep red Flywire is used alongside matching accents, as well as navy blue on the midsole and Swoosh. “Albert Knows” appears on the heels, similar to the way “Bo 34 Knows” appears on the other shoe. | Read the rest of Nike Trainer SC 2010 Pack © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 6 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Trainer SC 2010 |
Nike Zoom BB II Tony Parker PE Unreleased Posted: 28 Jan 2010 11:28 AM PST During the 2008-2009 NBA season, San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker sported the Nike Zoom BB II on occasion in a black and silver colorway. However, this white/black colorway of the Nike Zoom BB II was never worn by Parker. Therefore, it never released to the public unlike the aforementioned black/silver colorway. This unreleased Zoom BB II Tony Parker PE is now available on eBay in a size 9. This particular sneaker features a white-colored base comprised of a few textures such as patent leather (toe area), leather (predominance of the upper) and mesh (tongue). It seems to also own a black nylon inner lining. Other features include a black swoosh outlined in grey, a grey midsole, a black outsole and Tony Parker’s logo on the heel. As stated earlier, you can place your bid now on eBay. | Read the rest of Nike Zoom BB II Tony Parker PE Unreleased © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 2 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Nike, Nike Basketball, Nike Zoom BB II |
Vans “Alva Legends” Pack Posted: 28 Jan 2010 10:58 AM PST Tony Alva’s legendary status led to Vans revamping some classic silhouettes, including the Mid Skool 77 Pro and Era Pro. The colorways used on both shoe actually bear the skater’s name. Alva Blue suede covers the Era Pro, while a lighter blue interjects on the stitching. Tan is used for the liner in laces in the same way it’s put to work on the Mid Skool 77. The higher-cut version of the two dons an Alva Green colorway. Both sport white vulcanized soles and eyelets that match their liners and laces. | Read the rest of Vans “Alva Legends” Pack © Alex Kroviak for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | No comment | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Vans, Vans Era Pro, Vans Mid Skool 77 |
