Nike Aina Chukka

Posted: 28 May 2010 05:28 PM PDT

Nike is most notably known for their work within the sporting realm, which spans from the soccer field to the basketball court. Recently however, we have been showing several models of the Nike Aina Chukka in colors such as Black and Tan. Nike will soon be releasing two more nice Aina Chukka colors in navy and olive green.

Like the rest of the Aina Chukkas, this lifestyle sneaker features an entirely suede upper that utilizes techniques such as perforations on the toe box and woven patterns on the sides to maintain flexibility/comfort and allow breathability. In addition, vulcanized soles with diamond-like patterns and leather laces add a subtle luxurious feel to these quickstrikes that are set to drop this Spring/Summer. Stay tuned for more information on exact release dates.

Reebok Pump “Respect Pack”

Posted: 28 May 2010 04:58 PM PDT

Reebok Pump "Respect Pack"

The “Respect” series from Reebok has bought us a number of Pump-featuring silhouettes donning the colorways of older models. For this round (number three for those keeping score at home), Michael Chang’s Court Victory lent its looks to the Pump Omni Lite and Insta Pump Fury.

The Pump Omni Lite takes a more subtle approach, as a majority of its upper is white. Teal appears on the lace-holders along the sides, while neon yellow accents can be found throughout. For the Insta Pump Fury, subtlety was put on the back burner, and neon yellow was put everywhere else. The retina-burning hue gets a little help from teal, but will catch most of the attention on its own.

Nike Zoom Kobe V Holiday 2010

Posted: 28 May 2010 04:28 PM PDT

The Los Angeles Lakers are currently rocking three Nike Zoom Kobe V colorways which include the “Del Sol”, the “Home” and the POP colorways. However, as we all know there are plenty more colorways of Kobe’s fifth signature sneaker. We have also learned that three more Nike Zoom Kobe V colorways are set to release this holiday season.

One of the three upcoming Nike Zoom Kobe Vs features sort of a reverse colorway to the aforementioned Nike Zoom Kobe V “Del Sol”. Instead of possessing a predominately black-colored base, this sneaker owns a mainly white colored base with multiple Del Sol accents specifically on the heel, half of the sole and the shoelaces. The other two colorways feature a wolf grey/black-daring red color scheme and an ink/metallic silver-black colorway. Look for each pair to release during November and/or December.

Nike Dunk High “Monochromatic Canvas” Pack

Nike Dunk High "Monochromatic Canvas" Pack

Recently, a number of Nike Dunk Highs dropped with canvas uppers for the “True Colors” World Cup effort. Those donned the Autoclave soles, though, while the two we’re seeing here rely on the standard Dunk sole we’re all used to.

Both a black and red shoe were designed, making use of monochromatic builds. The red sways from its one color approach slightly, as the outsole is black, which is likely for added durability. Metal eyelets on the midfoot of both match the respective upper on which they’re used.

Release Reminder: Air Jordan 9 White/Black-University Blue

Posted: 28 May 2010 03:28 PM PDT

This Saturday, May 29th, 2010, Jordan Brand will release its second colorway of MJ's ninth signature sneaker this year in the form of the Air Jordan 9 Retro White/Black-University Blue for $150 (the first was the “Silver Anniversary” Air Jordan 9 in March).

This particular Air Jordan 9 Retro is arguably one of the most highly-anticipated releases of 2010 so far. When photos of this retro first surfaced in, the majority of you prematurely thought that the 1993-released “Powder Blue” Air Jordan 9s were returning; however, after much examination and official information regarding this sneaker, we have learned that this sneaker actually possesses university blue hints instead of ‘powder blue’. Either way, this sneaker will undoubtedly fly off of the shelves tomorrow. Its predominately white leather base is highlighted by a patent leather, university blue midsole and Jordan branding of the same color on the heel and tongue. In addition, black elements, including the tongue, lacing construction and inner lining, complete this sneaker. As stated earlier, this Air Jordan 9 Retro will be available tomorrow at your nearest Jordan Brand retailer for $150. Will this be a must-have for you tomorrow?

Nike Sportswear Hints at Coming Foamposite Release

Posted: 28 May 2010 02:58 PM PDT

Nike Sportswear Hints at Coming Foamposite Release

The Nike Sportswear Twitter account has left us all on edge over the past few days, thanks to hints regarding an upcoming Fomaposite release. It all began when the account first left the message, “We keep hearing this is the year of the Foamposite. In a few days, we’ll share something the world hasn’t felt before.”

Since then, messages referring back to the first tease have made us anticipate the news even more. Many would speculate it could mean the confirmation of the return of the Air Foamposite One in royal blue, but the hint that the subject shoe hasn’t been “felt before” likely rules that out. The operator also hasn’t left out the possibility of a hybrid. What do you hope the news is? If you could use Foam in any way or on any shoe, what would your custom shoe look like? Head to the comments section and let us know.
