| Parra x Vans Fall 2009 Pack Posted: 12 May 2009 10:26 AM PDT  This year, we have seen multiple Vans Packs such as the Premium Leather Pack, the Brown Suede Pack and the Usugrow x Vans Pack. In addition, we have now spotted the entire Parra x Vans Fall 2009 Pack just in time for the Summer. This collaboration design will consist of three Vans models including the Era, Sk8 Hi and the Chukka. All three models feature fresh, unique color schemes, to say the least. Their bases are comprised of vibrant colors such as turquoise, pink, orange and white. Other features include drawings of skateboards throughout the upper on the Sk8-Hi and the Chukka. As for the Era, Parra's signature is located on the tongue, while the words, "Don't Forget To Actually Skate In These" is imprinted on the insole. Look for the Parra x Vans Fall 2009 Pack to hit select Vans retailers in July. |

| Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes Xander Remix Posted: 12 May 2009 10:23 AM PDT  Earlier this month we saw the latest Mike Shinoda x DC Shoes collab, the Xander. Shinoda chose to apply some of his Japanese heritage to this latest makeup. "When I was young, some people were surprised to find out that I am half Japanese. Growing up, I always looked forward to celebrating each New Year's Day with that side of my family. I love Japanese food and art, so I guess it's no surprise that those things sometimes end up being a part of my work." The proceeds from sales of the majority of his painted/drawn works go to the Michael K. Shinoda Endowed Scholarship, helping students at the Art Center College of Design in California. "I am happy to say that proceeds from my second Remix Series™ shoe are going towards the scholarship once again,
and that DC Shoes has generously offered to match

The Olive colorway finds inspiration from the old school bomber jacket, the MA-1. Along with the olive green upper, it features removable Velcro Converse logo and All Star patch on the tongue. Since the 2008-09 NBA playoffs began, LeBron James has been sporting the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III. As the playoffs continue, our Kicks On Court is starting to see more and more of James’s teammates marching forward in the Zoom LeBron Soldier III. With that said, it seems ‘King James’ has a very big influence on some of his teammates not only basketball-wise, but sneaker-wise as well. In the fourth and final game of the Atlanta Hawks-Cleveland Cavaliers series, Cavs’ guards Delonte West and Mo Williams both hooped in the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier III along with ‘King James’. On another note, we even spotted Zydrunas Illgauskas rocking the Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier II in a black colorway. Can LeBron ultimately influence the entire Cavaliers team to wear the his shoe? | Jordan Jeter Captain Posted: 11 May 2009 03:11 PM PDT  Now that Major League Baseball is working on their second month of action, Jordan Brand has unveiled the latest Derek Jeter signature shoe, the Jordan Jeter Captain. As one of baseball’s top players, Jeter has built quite the following. His game speaks for itself, and without all of the debauchery of some of those other “superstars”. The Captain comes in at an extremely light 14 ounces. It features Herringbone and diamond nub traction for grip on any surface. Of course what Jeter shoe would be complete without a visible Max Air Unit, and some traditional Yankee-esque pinstripes. The result is a shoe that matches Jeter’s persona both on and off the field. The Jordan Jeter Captain is available now at Jordan Retailers for $110. |

| New Balance CM670N “Spot Limited Edtion” Lineup Posted: 11 May 2009 02:37 PM PDT  New Balance continues to release multiple colorways of its many running models such as the M1500UKW Japan, the MT580 Black and the CW996M Lineup. In addition, New Balance is set to release two colorways of the New Balance CM670N on May 23rd, 2009. Both pairs of this running shoe contain a mixture of suede and mesh on the upper. The mesh is located on the toe box and ankle area while the rest of the shoe possesses the suede texture. Other features include a grey New Balance logo on the side panels and a grey suede heel panel. One will release in a sea green/white colorway, while the other pair (shown here) uses a purple/white base. Although the New Balance CM670N officially hits retailers on May 23rd, you can pick them up now at Mita. |
