adidas Super Beast & adiZero Rose 1.5 “St. Patrick’s Day” New Images Posted: 03 Feb 2011 12:58 PM PST We are about a week and a half away from Valentine’s Day, yet we are already starting to see a few St. Patrick’s Day inspired sneakers. We now have detailed photos of the adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 and the adidas Superbeast for Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard, respectively. Rose’s adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 features a dark green upper comprised of mostly suede. Light green contrast stitching appears throughout the upper, along with multiple white sections on the toe box and sole. As for Dwight Howard’s Super Beast, it contains a predominately light green upper with a silver, gradient-like Three Stripes logo on the side panels. View detailed photos below. Nike LunarWood+ Metallic Silver/Challenge Red Posted: 03 Feb 2011 12:28 PM PST Part ACG and part high tech, the Nike LunarWood+ is a great sneaker for both the outdoorsy and the urban confined. This latest colorway should be landing at retailers any day now. Sporting a Metallic Silver ripstop nylon and dark grey suede upper, this shoe’s reinforced toe box is what sets it apart. It’s constructed with a thick textile and its perforations are backed with 3M. Look for this lightweight Lunarlon-cushioned sneaker in stores soon. Nike Air Max Nomo ‘Varsity Red’ Posted: 03 Feb 2011 12:08 PM PST Over the past few years, Nike has unloaded a slew of Air Griffey Max 1 colorways to many sneaker enthusiast’s excitement; however, this year, Nike will also re-release another celebrated baseball/training sneaker in the form of the Nike Air Max Nomo. The Nike Air Max Nomo was the signature sneaker of Japanese Major League pitcher Hideo Nomo. Originally released in 1996, this sneaker was more than well-received thanks to its Air Griffey Max-like sole and Air bubble usage. The first colorway, Varsity Red/Black-White-Varsity Maize, is already starting to show up at select spots. View additional photos below. Nike Dunk Low “Year of the Bunny” by SBTG Preview Posted: 03 Feb 2011 11:43 AM PST SBTG has designed some of the most unique custom designs we have ever seen on sneakers. Last year, they collaborated with Overkill on a Converse Chuck Taylor Hi and with Aristocrats on a Nike Blazer and Dunk. Today, we take a look at their new custom design also inspired by the year of the Rabbit. This custom Nike Dunk Low contains an eye-popping, peculiar combination of colors on the upper such as purple, green, yellow, black and red. Yet, one of the most interesting attributes on this shoe is the rabbit teeth designs that graces the heel. Check out detailed photos below.
