Nike Air Penny II Black/Copper

Posted: 24 Sep 2009 12:58 PM PDT

Nike Air Penny II

Nike has showed the Penny Hardaway line a lot of love within the past year and a half. Earlier this year, Nike released the Penny II “Atlantic Blue” and just recently unleashed the Air Penny II “Triple Black”. However, photos of what may be another, extraordinary Air Penny II release have surfaced on the web.

In addition to the 2010 copper Foamposite release we showed you at the beginning of Jul, Nike has applied a very similar color scheme to the Air Penny II. Much like the aforementioned “Triple Black” colorway, this shoe features a mostly black base which is comprised of foamposite material, leather and nubuck; yet, its eye-catching copper outlining throughout the midfoot and collar area puts this shoe in a class by itself. To coincide with the copper accents, this Air Penny II also owns a outsole of the same color. No word on when/if this shoe will release; meanwhile, click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Air Force 1 by Eddie Cruz Detailed Photos

Posted: 24 Sep 2009 12:28 PM PDT

Nike Air Force 1 by Eddie CruzAs part of the “East vs. West” design battle with DJ Clark Kent, Left-coaster Eddie Cruz designed these Larkers-inspired Air Force 1’s, and now we have some detailed photos for you.

As you can see, purple reptile comprises the entire upper, making for a pretty bold start to these. A patent leather yellow swoosh and heel label completes the Laker theme. A red outsole is used here, which works against the LA theme, but still works as a bright accent color. One detail most of you may have missed in the last round of coverage that’s now confirmed by these photos is the 0.44 Sticky Rubber on the outsole. There’s a corresponding label on the upper, too. DJCK used this same compound in this AF1 High “East”, and its added durability adds to the overall quality of materials used here. Expect these in October.

Nike Air Max 90 Current

Posted: 24 Sep 2009 11:58 AM PDT

Nike Air Max 90 CurrentThe Air Max lineup for Holiday and Winter 2009 has already shown some promise, including the Air Max 1 “West” we showcased yesterday, and now the Air Max 90 Current is getting some love in the form of this Black/Carolina model.

This version is very similar to the Currents we’ve seen before, using a simple black colorway. However, the beauty of these lies in the details, especially the black Ostrich side panel. The swoosh is also black, and suede is the choice material. Carolina blue is used on the plastic eyestays, heel panel, and around the Air Max heel bubble.

Nice and simple, these AM90 Currents will be available this coming Holiday season. Are you planning to get in to these? Head to the comments board and fill us in.

DJ Clark x Nike Hyperdunk Supreme “112″ Pack Quickstrike

Posted: 24 Sep 2009 11:28 AM PDT

Nike Hyperdunk

In our Nice Kicks 2008 Kixpy's Awards last December, the DJ Clark Kent x Nike “112″ Pack releases were voted Best Collaboration and Best Pack/Series of 2008. With that said, it is safe to say this pack was one of the more sought-after releases last year.

The Nike Hyperdunk Supreme 112, which is the next installment release in this pack, will be even more sought-after seeing that it is an Asia-only release. Furthermore, this Hyperdunk Supreme will be released in a very limited amount. As for the makeup, this shoe features black side panels overlayed by a neon yellow flywire design. Neon yellow accents also appear in the form of the swoosh border and on the patent leather tongue logo. However, two of the more interesting features on this shoe include the elephant print design and the 3M reflective materials appearing on the front and back sections of the sole. The Nike Hyperdunk Supreme 112 will hit select Asia reatilers soon; meanwhile, click here to view detailed photos.

Nike Zoom LeBron Ambassador II Navy/White

Posted: 24 Sep 2009 10:58 AM PDT

Nike Zoom LeBron Ambassador II Navy/White

While on tour promoting his “More Than A Game” World Tour in London, LeBron was spotted wearing some Navy Ambassador IIs.

If you remember from our previous coverage of the not-the-Soldier-or-the-VII LeBron sneaker, the Ambassador II is designed as a low-top, outdoor-specific, lower-priced model for the LBJ line. LeBron debuted the white version in Beijing, and we’ve showcased part of the 2010 Spring lineup. These look to be using a navy upper with white contrast stitching and carolina blue accents. The shoe LeBron can seen showcasing while wearing the Ambassador IIs is the Nike Air Max LeBron VII “London,” which was put together for the tour.

Nike Air Force 1 Quilted Canvas “Tennis Pack”

Posted: 24 Sep 2009 09:58 AM PDT

Nike Air Force 1 "Tennis Pack"It may be too late in the season for an all-white sneaker, but if you’re already looking forward to warmer weather in a couple of months, head over to Kix-Files now and get on these AF1s from the Nike “Tennis Pack.”

These are essentially a traditional all-white canvas AF1 that have been given a once-over for additional design elements, such as the quilted pattern on the midpanel, and the colored heel section. You may recognize the splatter design and colorway for that rear tab from the other Tennis Pack designs, like the Dunk Hi Premium we showed you this summer.

If Fall has actually come to your hometown, you may have keep these on ice until Spring, but until then, click here for more pics.
