Vans Vault Native American Binding Posted: 03 Jan 2010 11:13 AM PST Vans will unleash a couple of new silhouettes in 2010. Following the newly-designed Luke Meier x Vans Syndicate we showed at the end of December, we have spotted an upcoming Vans lineup that features yet another new model dubbed the Vans Vault Native American Binding. At a first glance, the Native American Binding seems to possess a combination of the SK8-Hi and the winter-ready Switchback model. Yet, it contains some distinctive features of its own. For example, it is equipped with a 100% leather toe cap and a predominately suede upper. It also owns a monochromatic Vans logo near the collar, monochromatic shoelaces and an off-white vulcanized rubber sole (the blue pair comes with a traditional white sole). Colorways will include, grey, black and blue. Look out for this lineup during the spring of 2010. Jordan Icons White/University Blue Posted: 03 Jan 2010 10:28 AM PST When we showed you the Jordan Icons Black/Red-White at the beginning of last month, the majority of you surprisingly had nothing but positive remarks on this newly-designed model. That is a rarity seeing that hybrids are not well-received by many. Since you liked the Jordan Icons, what are your thoughts on the second colorway that has surfaced on the web? As stated in our previous Icons post, this particular model draws much of its inspiration from the Air Jordan XX and the Air Jordan XX3. Specifically, the stitching on the side panels and the tongue is obviously a similar copy of the Air Jordan XX3, while the midsole and outsole construction is identical to the Air Jordan XX. As for the colorway, it shows up this time in one of the more recognizable Jordan colorways, white/university blue. The aforementioned side panel stitching is seen in university blue along with the midsole. Obviously, the predominance of the upper is touched up in white leather. No word on when this shoe will release; until then, click here to view detailed photos. | Read the rest of Jordan Icons White/University Blue © George Kiel III for NiceKicks.com, 2010. | Permalink | 15 comments | Add to del.icio.us Post tags: Air Jordans, Jordan Icons |
