This particular pair, which will be releasing later this May, features a completely monochromatic grey suede upper. In addition, the pair sports alternating navy and red Swooshes on the medial and lateral side panels. What are your thoughts on the different colored Swoosh designs?

Kicks On Court: Durant Shelves “Scoring Title” Nike Zoom KD III After First Quarter Posted: 22 May 2011 08:16 AM PDT Kevin Durant undoubtedly did some amazing things in the ‘Away’ Nike Zoom KD III “Scoring Title”. In game 1, he scored 40 points in a loss and his dunk over Brendan Haywood (game 2) will go down as one of the memorable highlights in the 2011 NBA Postseason. Yet, Durant’s debut of the ‘Home’ Nike Zoom KD III “Scoring Title” may be the last time we see this shoe on court. KD wore the “Home version for only a quarter in last night’s game 3 of the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Dallas Mavericks series. The Thunder struggled in the first quarter with Durant specifically going 1-5 from the field. His first quarter performance, along with the overall struggle of the OKC Thunder, obviously played a factor in him switching from the ‘Home’ Nike Zoom KD III “Scoring Title” to the “Home” Nike Zoom KD III. What are your thoughts on the ‘Home’ Nike Zoom KD III “Scoring Title”? View these kicks plus more, worn by Russell Westbrook, Dirk Nowitzki and others, below. Nice Kicks Staff Picks Posted: 21 May 2011 02:58 PM PDT Two Kobes, a retro trainer and an off-the-beaten-path collaboration are just some of the kicks included in this round of Staff Picks. Did something new catch your eye this week? Tell us your sneaker selection in the comment section below. George Kiel III We have seen a number of Nike Zoom KD III colorways, but the “Scoring Title” KD III is one of the best in my opinion. It is very subtle with the matter black upper, yet, it features some pop to it in the form of the yellow swoosh among other details. I also like the angular pattern in place of the Flywire design on the quarter panel. Nike Zoom KD III “Scoring Title” Read the rest of Nice Kicks Staff Picks

In Retrospect: Air Jordan 2 White/Black-Varsity Red Posted: 21 May 2011 01:28 PM PDT The Air Jordan 2.0 White/Black-Varsity Red has garnered both positive and negative attention ever since photos surfaced on the web. We are a little over a week away from the release of the Air Jordan 2.0, and it remains to be seen whether the Air Jordan 2.0 performs in the stores. While we await that release, our “In Retrospect” takes you back to a similar release around this time last year. Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 2 White/Black-Varsity Red for the third time (1994, 2004, 2010) in 17 years after originally debuting it in 1986. Although this particular colorway of MJ’s second signature shoe is considered a classic, its 2010 retro release was overshadowed by other Air Jordan 2 drops such as the “Bin 23″ Air Jordan 2 Premio and the Air Jordan 2 University Blue/Black. Did you purchase the Air Jordan 2 White/Black-Varsity Red, and was it worth $135? If not, are you wishing you would have snagged them last May? How does this colorway rank amongst the aforementioned Air Jordan 2 colorways that released last year? Lastly, was this one of your favorite Air Jordan Retro releases of 2010? Let us know your thoughts on the Air Jordan 2 White/Black-Varsity Red in the comment section below!
