Nike Air Max 95 “Slate”

Nike Air Max 95 "Slate"

Many runner fans were ecstatic to hear about these Nikes making a return. The Air Max 95 “Slate” is a prized colorway of a classic sneaker, so it only makes sense that its return would create serious buzz. What may create even more buzz is news that it is now available at select retailers, including Proper.

The “Comet,” color-up hasn’t yet hit shelves, but the availability of these comes far sooner than originally expected. The shoe itself relies on a multi-tone blue upper with a healthy amount of white leather thrown in for good measure. The Air Max-infused sole shows the namesake Slate blue color in its trademark bubbles. Stay tuned for updates on other spots selling these, as well as an expected release date for their equally-excited partner sneaker.

Nike Blazer Hi Vintage Yellow & Blue Grey

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 11:58 AM PDT

Nike Blazer

In the midst of the Air Jordan 1 Retro KO release this past March, we raised the question, Is the Stained Sole a Clean Look?. The vintage attributes have definitely been a common theme on particular sneakers lately. With that said, we have spotted two upcoming, vintage Nike Blazer colorways that are set to release during the 2010 fall/winter season.

Both colorways contain vintage elements that you did not take a liking to when we constructed our aforementioned feature. The sole seems as if it may be stained just a little too much. In addition, the sole is assisted by the tongue and inner lining which also possess old-fashioned hints. One Blazer will possess a yellow suede construction, while the other pair features a blue grey suede finish. Check your nearest Nike retailer during the 2010 fall/winter season for these releases.

Air Jordan 9 White/Citrus-Deep Forest

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 11:28 AM PDT

Air Jordan 9 White/Citrus-Deep Forest

Jordan Brand continues to tease its fans with its colorways. News of a Air Jordan 9 White/Powder-esque white and University Blue combination excited fans, while the ongoing confusion over Varsity Red vs. Infrared continues. However, this pair of 9s just surfaced, bringing a fresh look to the retro model.

The white leather upper gets help from the patent that wraps around the base, toe and ankle, which is stitched with a very dark green thread. That same grene hue appears on the outsole and tongue, as well. Citrus yellow, which we will see used in a different AJ9 later this year, works to brighten this shoe’s colorway. Numerous logos are treated to the color, as well as the laces that show a repeating “Jordan” print. These are rumored to be limited to 2,000 pairs, but Marquee Sole has an early jump in a few sizes now.

Nike Air Max Hyped TB Carbon Fiber

Posted: 23 Apr 2010 10:58 AM PDT

In addition to flywire, some of Nike Basketball’s latest offerings have incorporated Air Max technology such as the Air Max Hyperfly, the Air Max Rise and the Air Max Hyperize. However, we have spotted a newly-designed Nike Basketball sneaker that rids itself of the ever-so-popular flywire design yet keeps the classic Air Max technology. With that said, take a look at the Nike Air Max Hyped TB.

Although the flywire design is absent, this new Nike Basketball sneaker features attributes seen on previous Nike Basketball models. For example, the Air Max Hyped TB’s overall, bulky silhouette is very similar to the fairly-new Nike Hypermax.  In addition, this shoe contains a carbon fiber strip that runs throughout the base similar to the legendary Nike Air Zoom Flight ‘95. This white/black-metallic silver Nike Air Max Hyped will hit retailers soon; meanwhile, click here to view additional photos.

Air Jordan 6 "Infrared" Pack

News of a two-shoe Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” Pack puzzled a lot of sneaker collectors and fiends. With a confirmed White/Varsity Red coming this Summer and a recent February Black/Varsity Red release, the appearance of Infrared in the coming months is bittersweet. Still, some purists will be very happy to see these photos of both pairs in their OG-esque glory.

The black pair makes use of a suede upper, while the white ones rely on leather. We saw detailed pics of the black pair not too long ago, but this is our first look at the whites, which seem to have created more buzz with readers. As you would expect, all the signature features of the AJ6 are present, including the heel loop, icy outsole and mid-tongue lace cover. Stay tuned for more information on this pack as it arises.
