| Nike Zoom Barcelona Posted: 13 Mar 2010 12:28 PM PST  Nike Basketball has a slew of nice sneakers set for a summer release including the Nike Air Max Hyperize and the Nike Hyperfuse. In addition, Nike Basketball will also unleash the newly-designed Nike Zoom Barcelona. If you recall, we showed you a preview of this shoe this past fall; however, we now have additional photos of this upcoming sneaker. The Nike Zoom Barcelona pays tribute to the Air Ballistic Force High that David Robinson wore in the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics. Seeing that this shoe has everything to do with the USA team, it possesses sort of a red, white and blue color scheme. The upper is mainly white with multiple blue panels on the base. Its most glaring attributes include gold hints such as the swoosh border and Nike branding on the midfoot strap. Check out its gradient-like design on the midsole. | Nike Air Griffey Max GD II Holiday 2010 Posted: 13 Mar 2010 11:28 AM PST  Last week, we notified you of the Nike Air Griffey Max GD II re-releasing later this month. Although a lot of us will agree that this shoe is not better than the Nike Air Griffey Max 1, it is still good to see Nike dig into the vault and pull out some classics. With that said, Nike will release yet another colorway of the Air Griffey Max GD II during this upcoming holiday season. The Nike Air Griffey Max GD II, a simple yet stylish training sneaker, features a full-length Air max sole unit combined with a 100% leather upper; it has been stated that this is one of the more comfortable Griffey sneakers ever created. As for this colorway, it features a mainly black colored upper with royal blue hints on the outsole, swoosh (collar area) and on the swingman logo (tongue). | New Balance MTG580 Gore-Tex Posted: 13 Mar 2010 10:44 AM PST  New Balance goes in on their MTG58 Gore-Tex model with a vengeance. An MA-1 flight jacket inspires this olive/orange colorway. The make-up then takes the inspiration a step futher by adding Velcro to the branding of the shoe. The medial and lateral “N” stamps may be stripped and replaced with an olive or orange Velcro-backed “N.” The material composition of the shoe consists of a leather and Ripstop skin that veils the Gore-Tex underlining. | adidas Originals Superstar 80s “kzklot” Posted: 13 Mar 2010 10:28 AM PST  Kazuki Kuraishi and CLOT partnered up with adidas Originals to deliver this Superstar 80s, which just became available at select retailers, including Livestock. Black mesh is used for the construction of the upper. That is, with the exception of the midfoot, heel and rubber shell toe. | Kick Ass x Vans Era Posted: 13 Mar 2010 09:43 AM PST  Vans linked up with the team behind Kick Ass to throw together this Kick Ass x Vans Era. If you’re not already familiar, Kick Ass is a Michael Vaughn comedy that will hit theaters on April 16. The shoe dons a green/yellow colorway-inspired by the superhero suit of Christopher Mintz-Plasse’s character. Solid green canvas covers the toe panel, a yellow “Kicks Ass” all over print hits the mid panel, and the heel panel is branded with one stamp. Today, Vans will be hosting a signing with the Kick Ass cast at their store in Austin, TX. The signing will be from 5-6 pm. 100 pairs of this shoe were produced. They will not be sold, unfortunately. This time they choose to celebrate Pump nostalgia by offering the Pump Omni Lite in the Black/Citron/RBK Red colorway. The Omni Lite has long been a prominent model within the Pump series. Furthermore, the Citron colorway is regarded among enthusiasts and thereby canonized as a signature Reebok colorway. The material covering the upper is a medley of regular, textured, and patent leathers as well as select hits of mesh. The most unique of the materials-the textured leather-wraps around the toe and possesses a spotted finish. Reebok offers a finishing touch with the metal Pump trinket that dangles on a chain looped through the top eyelet. These shoes are now available at Extra Butter.
