Nike Air Trainer 1 Red Pinstripe

Nike Air Trainer 1 Red Pinstripe
This is the latest Nike Air Trainer 1, called the Red Pinstripe, but we’re not quite sure if the colors really work together. The upper is almost completely red and white pinstriped, with the exception of the white swoosh. The part that throws it off for us though is the gum sole, which just doesn’t seem to fit, but what do you think? [EUKicks]

Here is a new design of the Air Max 1 from Nike. It is called the Yellow Safari, and comes in a white/yellow/gray colorway with the safari print in yellow. The white toebox also features mesh material. The bad news is that as of right now, these are just samples, but hopefully they make it into production. [EUKicks]

Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0

Posted: 29 Apr 2009 12:05 PM PDT

Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0Its no secret that the Velcro strap has become a standard piece of the latest trend puzzle as of late. Reebok has dropped the Ex-O-fit, which somehow twenty plus years after its inception finds itself right in the mix of hot releases. Now with a new twist on the Velcro application Reebok teams up with Orchard Street for a new silhouette, the Fuze 1.0.

The Orchard Street x Reebok Fuze 1.0, in addition to a couple of straps across the forefoot, features Velcro straps unusually placed on the heel area of the shoes. Reebok and Orchard Streetalso apply the business as usual laces as well, which makes for a unique combination to say the least. Aside from that, the silhouette is simple and to the point, which is always a good way to go.

Look for these to hit retailers this summer.

Converse All Star Pink Floyd

A couple of weeks ago, we showed you the Converse All Star High "Pink Floyd", and those who commented had mixed opinions about this shoe. If you did not approve of that Pink Floyd inspired sneaker, maybe this second All Star style (inspired by the same band) will get your nod.

This particular sneaker is inspired by Pink Floyd’s 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon. Air Jordan 1 Phat Low Chlorophyll Polka Dots

Posted: 29 Apr 2009 08:35 AM PDT

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low Chlorophyll Polka DotsWe recently saw Laser Blue colored polka dots placed on the Air Jordan 1 and now “Chlorophyll Green” is being applied to this once classic sneaker.

Air Jordan 1 Phat Low Chlorophyll polka dots version is the latest in a long line of “unique” colors and styles to find their way onto the AJ1. The mostly white sneaker is accented with Chlorophyll Green polka dots and laces, as well as the logos and outsole. If I had to choose, I’m leaning reluctantly towards the Laser Blue versions.

You can pick up these at Kinetics for about $130. What do you think?

This particular sneaker contains a predominately white leather upper with minimal maize details throughout the base. Grey accents also appear on the heel panel and certain sections on the sole. Similar to the “Mardi Gras” colorway, this particular CP3.II possesses a patent leather toe area. At the end of last month, our Kicks On Court showcased the newly-designed Protege shoe brand in which New York Knicks forward Al Harrington founded. We also stated that Harrington corralled a few NBA players to support his brand such as Stephen Jackson, Mikael Pietrus and Ron Artest. With that said, check out Ron Artest’s Protege Playoff PE.

Similar to Harrington’s PE, Artest’s shoe contains a black patent leather ankle strap along with another strap across the base.
