Nike LeBron 8 "Grand Finale" Pack

LeBron James’ signature sneaker line is quite possibly one of the most successful and marketable “brands” in the athletic footwear industry. The high-top silhouettes have bordered on the lifestyle market, yet have stayed competitive on the court with some of the most up-to-date sneaker designs.

Today, a new two-some of custom Nike LeBron 8s have been unveiled to to the public. This package, inspired and based on the 2 teams who competed in the 2011 NBA Finals, mirror each other in a very unique fashion. While the Miami Heat inspired pair is featured in a home colorway, the Mavericks colorway has been hit in the ‘away’ colors. Both pairs make use of custom paint jobs, speckled midsoles and a plethora of details you will have to check out for yourself. These are without a doubt, some of the most complete customs we’ve seen in recent times.

Premium Draft: The 5 Best Sneaker Draft Classes

Tonight's NBA Draft has a lot of uncertainty, but when do you ever really know? Before we look ahead to the 2011 class we take a look back at the best before them. With great classes comes great star power and with great star power comes signature sneakers. Many loaded drafts on the court were also loaded on the foot. We've selected the five strongest NBA Drafts from a sneaker standpoint. Which one was the best in your eyes? Vote in the poll and give us your thoughts in the comment section.

The 1984 NBA Draft birthed the greatest player and the greatest signature line of all time. While MJ was the standout he didn't stand alone. Top pick Hakeem Olajuwon would become a legend on the court and on shelves putting up All-Star numbers and selling sneakers at economy prices. Charles Barkley's powerful play and brash personality made him the perfect fit for the Nike Force Camp and later a strong signature line.

Distinct Life x New Balance 30 for 30: Day 23 (NB MT580 “Burn Rubber”)

If you recall, Rick Williams and Burn Rubber unleashed their collaboration with New Balance on the classic MT580 last winter. It was definitely one of the best New Balance releases of last year. Today, Rick Williams brings this collaborative effort back out for day 23 of the Distinct Life x New Balance 30 for 30 series. This sneaker, which features a mainly grey suede base and a black, orange, and grey argyle pattern, is inspired by the colors of Burn Rubber’s shop and website.

Jordan Brand Girls Spring 2012 Preview

Following the Jordan Brand Spring 2012 Preview we showed you earlier, we now have a glimpse of what to expect for the women during Spring 2012. This lineup consists of a new White/Black-Ultraviolet-Cyber Air Jordan 10, a White/Storm Red-Neptune Blue Air Jordan 14 and a new autoclave constructed model dubbed the Air Jordan V.1. However, the most appealing release seen on these scans is the “Voltage Cherry” Air Jordan 4. Stay tuned for additional information regarding Jordan Brand’s spring releases.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Lower Merion”

Gone are the days of high-school players entering the NBA Draft. With the “one-and-done” system firmly in place, we are also seeing less players creating high school specific PEs. Today, one of these rare colorways has surfaced in the Nike Zoom Kobe VI “Lower Merion” colorway. This grey based colorway pays tribute to Kobe Bryant’s former high school in Pennsylvania and was originally debuted on the Nike Zoom Kobe IV. Today’s pair can be seen sporting a predominately grey and silver upper with red accents on the embedded Swoosh and branding. Check out more images below and let us know what you think.

Brothers Marshall x Vans Vault Collection

Comprised of two self-confessed Valley surf brahs, Brother Marshall is the latest team to collaborate with Vans Vault on an upcoming kicks collection. Mellow vibes emanate from the Spectator LX and Slip-On Deconstruct LX, which make use of Malibu Snake mock snakeskin and tan canvas. Moon Beam (teal) is used as an accent and liner color. Expect this twosome to drop this fall.

The Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 provides athletes with a ton of advantages on the court. Its lightweight construction, superior lockdown support and unparalleled breathability offer precision control for quickness and speed capable of leaving opponents frozen.

Today, a variety of new colorways have surfaced that look to be neck-breakers as well as ankle-breakers. The first three pairs make use of predominately black synthetic uppers with accent colors of volt, yellow and red used on each respective pair. The remaining previewed pairs include a red on white, red on black, yellow on white, blue on white, army green, blue and neon green on black, and navy on grey colorway.
