Both Ian and Alex owned the last US run of a certain shoe, but find themselves without them now. Good thing for them it’s coming back later this year. Another teamer selected a different retro shoe that’s rocking a bright colorway that’s never dropped. What was your favorite shoe this week? Tell us in the comments section. George Kiel III The Nike Air Max Penny 1 is a timeless sneaker, and the “Orlando” colorway may be the best colorway to dater. However, this “Highlighter Pack” pair is one of the better Penny sneakers I’ve seen in awhile. It seems as if the black/electric green color scheme brings out the best in any sneaker. | Kicks On Court Weekly Recap – Fab Five Posted: 19 Mar 2011 11:58 AM PDT Forwards dominated this week’s Kicks On Court. We spotted Damien Wilkins rocking a Yankees inspired Nike LeBron 8 V2, and Juwan Howard laced up a classic Air Jordan 5 colorway. Houston Rockets big man Jordan Hill rocked an iconic Charles Barkley sneaker, while Carmelo Anthony and Derrick Rose (the lone guard in this Fab Five) both wore St. Patrick’s Day themed sneakers. Damien Wilkins laying it up in the "Yankees" Nike LeBron 8 V2 Damien Wilkins has shown his infatuation for LeBron’s signature line by rocking sneakers such as the “Veterans Day” and “China” Nike LeBron 8 throughout this season. He shelved those two for the recently-released “Yankees” Nike LeBron 8 V2. We must applaud Dominque Wilkins’ nephew for debuting this shoe on court.  Derrick Rose handling the rock in the adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 "St. Patrick's Day" A lot of NBA players rocked green sneakers throughout the week for St. Patrick’s Day. Derrick Rose finally debuted the “St. Patrick’s Day” adidas adiZero Rose 1.5 on a couple of occasions this week. We are happy to finally see this shoe on court after shuffling through a number of picture galleries.  Juwan Howard shooting in the "Fire Red" Air Jordan 5 Former Fab Five member Juwan Howard (who wears jersey #5) laced up the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 5 this past Wednesday. This marks the first time we have seen the “Fire Red” Air Jordan 5 in our Kicks On Court column since it began in 2008. Nice selection, Juwan!  Carmelo Anthony wearing the "St. Patrick's Day" Jordan Melo M7 The Jordan Melo M7 has not received the amount of attention that other signatures have garnered (Nike LeBron 8 V2, Nike Zoom Kobe VI, adidas adiZero Rose); yet, Carmelo undoubtedly laced up one of the better colorways seen on this shoe. In detail, Anthony scored 28 points against the Memphis Grizzlies while wearing the “St. Patrick’s Day” Jordan Melo M7.  Jordan Hill defending in the Nike Air Max2 CB 94 Nate Robinson is obviously a big fan of the Nike Air Max2 CB 94 seeing that we have spotted him in this shoe numerous times over the past two years. We only get to see him in the all-white pair due to uniform regulations. Therefore, we were excited to see Jordan Hill wear the black/red-white pair on court earlier this week. | adidas Originals Fortitude Mid Spring Lineup Posted: 19 Mar 2011 10:43 AM PDT The adidas Originals Fortitude Mid has been dropping in attractive colorways recently, but none quite like the latest two to release. Both of these spring kicks features suede uppers in nearly monochromatic builds with special details throughout. The olive pair is offset by orange highlights while yellow helps out on the navy pair. The most notable highlight on each shoe has to be their camouflage collars though, which utilize colors similar to the respective majorities. The adidas Originals LQC draws inspiration from the timeless adidas EQT model. It features a premium, highly-detailed suede upper with perforated patent leather. The LQC Basketball shoe will be available with lead partner Dr. Jays beginning March 23, 2011. View additional photos below.
