| The Shoe Game 3 Year Anniversary Event Posted: 09 Dec 2009 01:28 PM PST  Atlanta ‘heads have recent to celebrate, as tomorrow Nice Kicks’ friends at TheShoeGame.com celebrate their 3 year anniversary with a blowout event. NikeStore at Lenox Square is being taken over, and DJ Greg Street will host. Shoes will be given away, displayed and definitely talked about, as the event lasts a solid three hours, starting at 7 PM. Air Force 1 fiend Mayor will even be in the building. If you’re in the Atlanta area tomorrow, make sure to swing by and check the event out.

| Etnies Plus for Spring/Summer Posted: 09 Dec 2009 12:58 PM PST  Etnies’ Plus line of lifestyle sneakers will return in 2010, as both the Senix and Townsend models are set to release in large numbers and multiples material make-ups. First off, we get a look at the Senix in a simple black leather and gum combo, as well are two more colorful looks. one is light blue over and off-white sole and the other is white against navy with a hint of orange on the toe. For the Townsend, 4 new color-ups are headed our way also. All white and all black make-ups will drop, as well as a white with a hint of orange. | 686 x New Balance Super Nova 3L Collection Posted: 09 Dec 2009 12:43 PM PST  New Balance and 686 linked up earlier this year for a limited collection of jackets, snowboarding boots, T-shirts, fitteds, and of course sneakers. Each brand brought their expertice in their respective fields to the table for this collaboration. 686 brought their expertice in winter and snow gear along with snowboarding and New Balance brought their know how in footwear. Last week a rather large box arrived at the office with a surprise inside thanks to New Balance and 686. | Converse Weapon ‘86 New Arrivals Posted: 09 Dec 2009 12:28 PM PST  Converse took a big step with their Converse Weapon when they dropped the updated Weapon EVO in the last year, having updated it with new technology more suitable for today’s NBA. The Weapon 86 also returned, making sure that we didn’t forget our roots. Two new color-ups of the classic version have hit retailers in black and blue and black and red combinations. Bird and Magic won’t be seen battling in these on the court, but maybe each can wear one color on their book promotion tour. Both pairs use black leather for the mid- and forefoot, with the contrast color on the heel. | EXPANSION x mita x New Balance CM820 Posted: 09 Dec 2009 11:58 AM PST  mita is no stranger to the New Balance line of product, as they’ve paired with them so often they may as well be an in-house design team. This time around, they got help from Japanese brand EXPANSION and went to work on a CM820. The first thing you notice is the “Urban Spiral Camo” on the toe box, tongue and near the ankle. The remainder of the upper is done up most with black nubuck, with the exception of the suede used on the toe. Bright teal and neon pink are used on the heel and draw a lot of attention. | Nike Air Zoom Tennis Classic Hyper Blue Posted: 09 Dec 2009 11:28 AM PST  Just yesterday we saw a bright blue sole on an Air Zoom Tennis Classic, and now we’re seeing a far more subtle version for fans of this old school low top. The “Hyper Blue” colorway uses its black base as a background and gets help from blue outsole to differentiate itself. The leather upper is about as simple as it gets, outside of the black stitching used to separate panels. Like the last pair we saw, these feature a perforation Swoosh and not a sewn-on piece. Blue places do their part to match the outsole and tie the color-up together. | Nike iD Zoom Kobe V Posted: 09 Dec 2009 10:58 AM PST  Before the Nike Zoom Kobe V will ever hit shelves in the “Away” and “Chaos” colorways, fans of the newest signature will get a chance to create their own colorway on NikeiD.com. Of course, the Kobe V officially launched yesterday at a press event in Los Angeles, which we’ll continue to have coverage from all week, and now we know that an iD version will be available starting December 26th, 2009. Details as to which textures, materials, colors and finishes will be available have not yet been confirmed, but will be shortly. As for now, it looks as though multiple prints will be available to be used throughout.
