| DC x Probus NYC Event Posted: 17 Mar 2010 12:58 PM PDT  Tomorrow night, DC and Probus NYC are pairing up to launch the DC Life Admiral Sport “Probot.” If the moniker doesn’t sound familiar, the look of the shoe surely will, as the chrome-finish high top drew its fair share of attention when we first checked it out. The shoe itself features an all mirror finish upper and sits on a white sole. This shoe is actually a collaboration between the New York retailer and DC Life, as seen on the insoles, which feature the image of both an astronaut and the Probus logo. Tomorrow, March 18th, an open-invite launch will go down at Probus.

| Nike Air Total Max Uptempo Metallic Silver/Black-White Posted: 17 Mar 2010 11:43 AM PDT  The OG colorway of the Nike Air Total Max Uptempo was designed to match the silver and black uniform of then-unestablished power forward Tim Duncan. The rest is history for one half of the Twin Towers of course, but the shoe he wore carries a legacy of its own as well. Metallic Silver is used on the quarter panels and wraps around the heel. Black finishes the remainder of the upper, matching the Swoosh along the sides. On the heel, a reflective oval-shaped AIR medallion is displayed. As is custom for these shoes, a full-length Air unit is used for support. | New Balance MTG580 “B-3″ Posted: 17 Mar 2010 10:13 AM PDT  The New Balance MT580 has come in a wide array of styles and colors in the last few months. The most recent shoe took inspiration from the MA-1 military jacket. Like that pair, the MTG580 seen here draws inspiration from military gear, but a B-3 Bomber jacket was the source instead. Draped in premium brown leather, this shoe almost qualifies as a dress shoe infused with performance materials. | Kicks On Court: Nike Alpholution Sighting in Memphis Posted: 17 Mar 2010 09:28 AM PDT  Over the past couple of weeks, we have spotted a slew of new sneakers in Kicks On Court. Specifically, sneakers such as the Nike Trainer 1, the Nike Hoop Structure and the Air Jordan 2010 have all made debut appearances since 2010 began. Last night, we spotted yet another fairly new Nike basketball sneaker on the NBA hardwood. In a losing effort against the Memphis Grizzlies, Chicago Bulls forward James Johnson wore the a red/black colorway of the Nike Alpholution. The Nike Alpholution is simply a hybrid sneaker that draws most of inspiration from the Charles Barkley-endorsed Nike Alpha Force. This show owns a primarily black/red colored upper, features a white sole and uses a midfoot strap similar to the Nike KD II. What are your thoughts on the Nike Alpholution? | Nike Dunk High Black/Blue Gingham Posted: 17 Mar 2010 08:43 AM PDT  Yesterday saw the debut of a number of Nike Dunks for the upcoming months. From the SB “Bruce Springsteen” to the AC “World Cup” drops, the classic silhouette has been promised to us in a number of nice upcoming colorways. For those who can’t wait though, the pair we see here is out now and widely available. Black denim covers the forefoot, midfoot and heel foxing. Blue and white gingham print fills in the remainder of the upper. The white laces, which match the tongue and midsole, are held in place with metal eyelets.
