| Nike SB P-Rod V-Rod First Look Posted: 06 Aug 2010 12:28 PM PDT Another sneaker will be added to the Nike SB P-Rod lineup at the beginning of next year, joining his numerous signature models and the Zoom P-Rod 2.5. A vulcanized sole sits underneath the P-Rod V-Rod’s simple upper, which is seen here in black, blue, grey and red suede builds. With the Zoom Harbor gone from the SB lineup, this shoe could work as a very wearable option for both skaters and sneaker fans. Expect many more looks as more news surfaced on this sneaker. After showing you player exclusives for Jason Richardson, Jason Kidd, Ron Artest and others, we now have a preview of Houston Rockets point guard Kyle Lowry’s player exclusives. Lowry himself unleashed this photo from his Twitter account recently. The color scheme coincides perfectly with the Houston Rockets ‘Home’ jerseys as it contains a predominately white-colored base with multiple red hints in the form of PEAK/Kyle Lowry branding, the laces and the inner lining. Additionally, Lowry’s name, along with his jersey number (#7) is located between the lacing panel and the toe box. Much like the WBF “USA” AF1s we saw yesterday, these own an Obsidian upper of leather, white Swoosh and midsole and red outsole. The quartet panel owns a matte, textured finish. The outsole is solid red, differentiating from the aforementioned WBF pair. If you’re after a pair of Forces with a proven colorway, give Nice Kicks in Austin a ring or check with your local retailer. In return, we constructed the Trill OG: Bun B’s OG Air Jordan Wish List in which the Port Arthur patriot listed sneakers such as the “Bordeaux” Air Jordan 7, the Air Jordan 13 Black/Chutney and the Air Jordan 6 Off White/Maroon. DJ Greg Street recently did an in-store event with Bun B and presented the rapper with a gift after viewing our aforementioned feature. These Nike Blazer Highs are set to release later this month. The white pair owns a tumbled leather, while suede is the chosen material for the black pair. Both utilize orange leather for their respective Swoosh logos and show other orange accents. The third pair can be spird in the back of only one shot and little information is available on that pair and whether it will release. Chinese shoe brands have been making news as of late but today another international player gets some shine. New pictures have emerged of the Le Coq Sportif Joakim Noah Pro Model, the signature shoe for the budding Chicago Bulls star. The European shoe maker provides Noah with a basic mid top shoe relying on simple style and classic aesthetics. Royal blue leather makes up the upper highlighted by white and red accents used to emphasize the branding in what is being dubbed the “Frenchie” colorway. Noah’s number resonates on the tongue playing off the ankle strap. The French flag is embroidered near the heel making this the PE choice for Noah as he plays for France in this summer’s FIBA World Championship. Is the sneaker game about to witness the rise of the Euro?
Sci-Fi flicks and sneakers have been crossing paths for a while now. While the upcoming TRON: Legacy inspired shoe has caught a buzz as of late, adidas shows love to the OG with the Star Wars x adidas Conductor Hi. The Conductor came to fame in the late 80′s when Patrick Ewing became the face of basketball in the Big Apple. Since then the Conductor has seen every transformation including lifestyle, boot, and most recently collab. This model uses premium materials with a gradient tone upper using charcoal, black, and white. Varsity style letters read DS on the side as a nod to the Death Star Stormtroopers and the matching jacket that will release with it. A special Storm Trooper emblem graces the tongue to complete the model. September will see the release of this model and the rest of the adidas x Star Wars line.
